Disclaimer

This decklist reflects the deck that I have currently build in paper.
It's by no means optimized, so there is lots of room for improvement in terms of efficiency and reliability - or simply personal preference.
For my taste, the deck plays great. But if you happen to have, for example, some Fetchlands lying around, feel free to slot them in.
Check out the Side-Board and Maybe-Board for some of the options I consider.

About this Deck

Kenrith, King of Hearts is a group hug deck (If you are not sure what that entails, check out this great primer on Reddit) with a Royal Family subtheme.

It is build to offer tons of political options, accellerate the general pace and balance discrepancies (be it power, luck or experience) of other decks.

Of course, despite being a very friendly deck, it still needs a way to win.
However, in the spirit of diplomacy, the gracious King only achieves a win by non-violent means:
Approach of the Second Sun, Revel in Riches and of course Happily Ever After.

If you like the idea of being the great equalizer, but don't care much for extensive debating, you can expand on the pillowfort package to discourage direct attacks.
However, note that experienced players are likely suspicious of extensive pillow-forting and will attempt to tear down your walls quickly.
