This deck is intended for a 75% meta. It will punish 100% CEDH players for their greedy manabase and low CMC spells. However, in a more casual environment, this deck is less effective because of the prevalence of basic lands and creature based strategies.

Besides being heavily influenced by the playgroup's meta, Keranos does not have a compact win condition. Keranos can easily establish a soft lock (through Keranos + MLD), but struggles thereafter. Assembling a win condition is hard in Izzet colors; you usually need to find Isochron Scepter + relevant instant. If you go for Lightning bolt/Reality Shift, you also need Paradox Engine. If you set up infinite mana with Dramatic Reversal, you also need Capsize/Staff of Domination.

I've also been trying to convert this into a Vial Smasher + Kraum deck. The black tutors will add to the consistency -- Keranos's effect is replaced by Vial Smasher + Delve spells (though you lose creature killing), and Keranos's Body is replaced by Kraum (making Keranos a creature is often very hard).
