I forgot to include Ad Nauseam in the first draft of this deck. It's my first crack at a pure storm list and, what's more, my first spellslinging deck. But with ad naus comes the necessity to cut down on my average cmc so blasphemous act had to go, with rolling thunder to replace it. I found that I needed blue more than any other color, so Rakdos Signet goes to make a home for Talisman of Dominance. As for Ancient excavation, this might be a temporary change because I like it in this deck, but for now I swapped it for Ad Nauseam. Tendrils just wasn't doing enough on paper, so I added another mana rock, which Dramatic Scepter desperately needs to really go off. This is the big overhaul. I recently saw Sigi from Laboratory Maniacs play/brew a Kess High tide that I took quite a bit of inspiration from. So props goes out to High Tide Kess thought up by my new favorite cEDH brewers. Urborg/Coffers combo doesn't really lend itself to High Tide so I cut them both as I didn't need the extra lands. I replaced Glacial Chasm for an island both to blend to high tide and because I couldn't afford to pay the life continuously without aetherflux reservoir. That weakened the eventual ad nauseam. Add to that, I felt as though Metallurgic Summonings and Docent of Perfection were doing a fine enough chump block job on their own while waiting to go off. Dig through time seemed counterproductive and Pull had to make room for Impulse. More to come in the next 24 hours. One more round of reshaping and I'll have a finished product that will only evolve to when I gain access to better cards.
