This deck is primarily an equipment-based voltron designed to protect and enhance Zurgo Helmsmasher and take advantage of his partial indestructibility by including a copious amount of board wipes. Rawr! (insert "Bloodlust" sound from Warcraft). Increasing Zurgo's damage is always nice but I put an emphasis on evasion-granting equipment and effects.

I used to have a Warrior-tribal with Zurgo but I felt it diluted the voltron aspect too much and was far too unsupported. I also used to have a bunch more walls (which I still contend aren't so bad in Commander--especially if a game-plan takes a bit of time to start up) but with the advent of the extra board-wipes (used to only be three or four) it seemed they wouldn't stick around to do their job as well.

Foreboding Ruins, Shadowblood Ridge, Sulfurous Springs, Isolated Chapel, Clifftop Retreat, Temple of Silence, Temple of Malice, Concealed Courtyard, Inspiring Vantage--the cheaper "good" lands I don't have in yet. Not super keen on the Rakdos-colored lands since the deck is mostly white but they're allied colors so lands are cheaper and more numerous. They're probably better than basics?

Manor Gargoyle-(owned), Creepy Doll, Stuffy Doll, Darksteel Gargoyle-(owned), Shielded by Faith--with all the board wipes it might be prudent to run a bit of indestructible-tribal. One problem is many indestructible creatures are 5-CMC; Zurgo's spot. I don't think the Theros gods would get their devotion often enough and the four Amonkhet gods in Mardu colors aren't going to work too well either. Maybe Hazoret the Fervent and Heliod, God of the Sun. The Scorpion God might kinda work but not enough to invest in.

Lethal Vapors might work well with the "indestructible tribal" theme I've recently added.
