Khans of Tarkir - Sligh Rabble

War-Name Aspirant is surely a strong card, however exerts no pressure on turn 2 and functions poorly with Foundry Street Denizen .He does supply a nice answer to Sylvan Caryatid which cannot be ignored and supplys additional reach against Elspeth, Sun's ChampionHowever by turn 3 I honestly feel that any respectable control deck would deal with him and we'd be a turn behind with just one lonely creature in play....I doubt that would be explosive enough to push home victory in time.

Hammerhand now potentially has a strong shout for a spot within a RDW in a world lacking two drop strength. It's role within the deck is mostly to smooth out turn 1, 2 and turn 3 pressure by granting haste to one drop creatures, turning them into 2/2 haste creatures and getting round early blockers.

Dragon Mantle Is pretty much an auto-include with Akroan Crusader , easy herioc trigger without losing card advantage. The ability to pump towards the later turns of the game potentially allow better longevity and reach.

Akroan Crusader Essential for the deck, one of our best red creatures, very nice with Stoke the Flames.

Monastery Swiftspear Another card I feel that is very strong and well positioned for RDW. Allows additional value to be obtained from triggering Akroan Crusader passively and really helps to push out those extra points of damage during the early turns of the game.

Firedrinker Satyr Cheap 1 drop creature slot filler with 2 power, good value and allows us to still deliver those early turn pumps.

Foundry Street Denizen Although not the deck's strongest opener. Foundy Street D certainly finds a home here. Combined with explosive Akroan Crusader trigger's and Goblin Rabblemaster he can be put to some serious work.

Stoke the Flames Not much explanation is needed here, gets rid of those frustrating T4 creatures or generates additional reach to go 4 points to the face.

Titan's Strength Important damage, trigger options for Akroan Crusader , Combat tricks...a must include for the deck.

Valley Dasher Not quite an Ash Zealot but the most aggressive 2 drop creature we have access to.

Goblin Rabblemaster Strong card able to seal of games quickly or replenish a board after a wipe very quickly. Synergy with Foundy Street Denizen and to a lesser extend - Hammerhand .

Lightning Strike Good removal or face burn, good value with Monastery Swiftspear

Frenzied Goblin Fantastic card, keeps your opponent 1 creature behind. Nice in combination with a hammerhand on the turn he comes in to keep up pace.
