Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker is easily my favorite card in all of Magic the gathering. When I first started playing the game, I knew I was in love with the chaos that red guaranteed in every game I played. So naturally, when I was convinced to start edh, I wanted to do a red build. It started with Urabrask the Hidden, being one of few edh "good things" cards inside of red, it seemed like a solid choice. As I got better I realized that red couldn't compete in the sense of complete board control and toolbox style play, its real strength was in creating chaos. This is where Kiki-jiki came in. What a better way could there be? make two of really scary s***. I read up on the lore (which I would suggest to anyone who reads this) and just fell in love with his character as well. Then I slowly synergized the deck by adding the real effective etb (enter the battlefield) cards like Warstorm Surge. So with no further ado, here is the point of the deck. (for those who are unfamiliar with the deck type)This deck is designed to make the very casting of creatures a scary thing. How can an opponent feel confident against me, knowing that by playing a card I could threaten the very game in a single turn? That is the chaos that I so love about red. So you add the essentials like Warstorm Surge and the artifact mana ramp and then the fun begins. Choosing your etb creatures! I have it in a seemingly random style, using what I found the most flavorful/effective. Examples: Tyrant of Discord (the only land hate in the deck, keep in mind, usually people stick these decks to the brim with land hate) Chancellor of the Forge and Molten Primordial. Then there are some combo pieces, like Thornbite Staff and Ashnod's Altar (also one of my favorite cards). Keep in mind as well that this deck in its competitive forms has more 2 card combos than I would care to list, and I deck none of them. That being said it still remains a scary deck for my opponents to face, but isn't going to just randomly crack with a 2 card combo. Enjoy!
