I am sick of Siege Rhinos ruining my games, so I hoped to make this deck in order to cripple the enemy before they can get that party-dunging rhino out onto the field.
With the release of the new Fate-Reforged cards I was hoping to come up with an improvement to the warrior deck I had made when Khans came out. I couldn't be happier with the warrior cards released for Fate so I decided to try again.
This deck is an all-out aggro deck trying to beat the opponent before the mid-game, or at least nearly killing them. The best combos in this deck come from the Brutal Hordechief, he is the heart of this deck even though he may not actually be the one swinging. his ability to secure damage is amazing!! The hope is that you will have an army of creatures by the time u play him.
Ideally: T1: Bloodsoaked Champion or Mardu Shadowspear
T2: Borderland Marauder or Chief of the Edge
T3: Goblin Rabblemaster or Mardu Strike Leader
T4: Kill em with the Brutal Hordechief.
If they live to T5 then you activate the ability of the hordechief to make all of their blockers block something like a goblin token or whatnot. And be sure to sprinkle in some boosts to your creatures, like Titan's Strength so you can get the opponent lower and kill any defenders bothering you.
I am confidant that during the first game it will have a strong showing, but once sideboards are included I have no idea... I would appreciate any suggestions that might improve this deck, especially ones with sideboard advice.
*side-note: I was thinking of adding some Mardu Ascendancy to protect from Drown in Sorrow and Anger of the Gods but I could not fit that in without jeopardizing the aggressiveness. Also Zurgo Helmsmasher seemed good but the 5 mana can be used to trigger the Brutal Hordechief's ability for better use
