Bow before the Minotaurs, crush all the humans underhoof and watch them tremble beneath the might of the true horde!
Chavest/Dega deck based on building up a gradual and powerful horde of minotaurs each getting benefits from one another, similar to slivers until I can amass a few mid game creatures to smack him with. Lots of burn and removal from black and red, lots of protection from white and red, and some enemy hand control from black.
This deck is designed to fight a lot of the current meta game in standard.
Creatures:
Deathbellow Raider
is our cute little two drop who's always swinging for the fences and with all the potential buffs from his minotaur brethren he can become a 5/4 trampler.
Felhide Spiritbinder fits well into the curve of the deck and his inspired ability can be very helpful giving and extra
Boros Reckoner
or
Rageblood Shaman
for some extra fun times.
Kragma Warcaller
, HE IS HERE TO PUMP YOU UP. This creature in conjunction with at least two other minotaurs, you can easily swing for HUGE numbers and possibly win the game because of him.
Boros Reckoner
he's a bit more sophisticated than the rest of the horde, he's a bit of an all-star, prodigal son, but he still wants the best for the horde, he is arguably the most powerful of the minotaurs but he doesn't let this get in the way of his goals.
Ragemonger
makes our minotaurs (except for mogis) cost less, with him on the board we could potentially play two
Boros Reckoner
on turn 4.
Rageblood Shaman
HE IS HERE TO GIVE YOU TRAMPLE THEN PUMP YOU UP.
Mogis, God of Slaughter is our lord and savior, praise the lord of heavy metal, righteous slaughter, mass pain & suffering.
Planeswalkers:
Elspeth, Sun's Champion ELSPETH HAS DEFECTED, her army building and buffing powers are greatly appreciated as it gives the deck another win condition.
Instants, sorceries and enchantments:
Boros Charm in conjunction with the Whip of Erebos allows for us to achieve the infinite life swing with
Boros Reckoner
, we can also use the charm to either dome the opponent, swing with double strike, or protect all of our guys in response to a Supreme Verdict.
Dreadbore
it kills stuff, nuff said.
Hero's Downfall kills critters, and kills planeswalkers, pretty stronk.
Mizzium Mortars kills the big bad Blood Baron of Vizkopa as well as pretty much everything else they can own.
Rakdos's Return gives the control decks nightmares. and that helps me sleep better at night.
Thoughtseize is possibly the meanest car you can play on turn one against ANY opponent.
Hammer of Purphoros gives everyone haste a few turns before the warcaller hits the field which can help tempo and also lets Mogis, God of Slaughter hit as soon as he drops which is something no other mino's can do
Whip of Erebos is a cornerstone of the infinite life combo in this deck, it also helps devote ourselves to our lord and savior Mogis, God of Slaughter and it can bring back our deceased brethren for a turn to exact revenge before they're pulled back into the underworld.
