You just poor mana into it while not being able to play anything else or not pump it. I'll gladly let you pump it all you want, and then use my removal on it...essentially using yourself to so slow you down. Student of Warfare is more efficient if you're looking for a card that does something similar but quicker and you don't have to use all your mana on it in one turn. It can still be removed but it's a decent card.

Yea that makes allot of sense thank you I'm definitely putting in student of warfare any other suggestions

I would recommend replacing the Battlefield Forges with Sacred Foundrys, or just replacing some basic lands with them. They count for the check lands, and can also be enchanted with Chained to the Rocks. Always glad to see R/W getting some love from deckbuilders.

Well the reason I'm running the pain lands is strictly because of budget eventually I hope to get shocks and fetches

I run a deck similar to this called Boros Burn. Instead of using big creatures to beat down my enemy I typically use swarms of little guys with Assemble the Legion. The biggest downfall of using burn cards to manage your opponents field is the lack of card draw in r/w. I fixed that problem by using a playset of Isochron Scepter to make sure I always have a bolt or whatever else you need ready to slap on to whatever creature they lay down. It really helps you keep a hand while containing the field.

if you intend to go out of budget you should get brimaz and also 1-2 elspeth knight errant for your first drop if you can afford goblin guide is great, if not moanstery swiftspear is also good, while student or figure can go long distances in most cases it wont happen.for sideboard bloodmoon fits perfectly here i think, and as already said in another post kor firewalker is a must have, i would suggest also deflecting palm for some matchups like infect bogles, bloom titan and affinity

Lightning Helix over Flame Slash
It's true that Splinter Twin often utelizes Flame Slash as their prime burn spell. But that's because they need to be able to kill of Spellskite in order to combo, and because they don't need to be able to burn players and planeswalkers that often.
You however would benifit from all the tings added by Lightning Helix, while not really getting much out of Flame Slash.
The instant speed, the lifegain, the added utility.
The only thing that you would really need Flame Slash for, would be to kill Spellskite, Restoration Angel, and from ime to time Scavenging Ooze and Tarmogoyf
But think about it. Way the value, and find out what you like.

Looks pretty good. <3 Boros. Token theme is cool. I would say as your 4-drop bomb, instead of something that makes more tokens, take advantage of the tokens you already have with a card like Glory of Warfare, Tears of Rage if it will get you the kill, or War Flare if you want the option of a deadly block. Or find a creature that gives a similar boost.

I like Glory of Warfare, but Hero of Bladehold is much stronger and much more consistant.

I agree with keeping hero in but thanks for the suggestions

Nice deck! :D +1
The only thing I would suggest is some Sacred Foundry to make the mana a little better. Lightning Helix is great as well.
What are you thinking about for the SB?Some cards like Wear / Tear, Blood Moon, Celestial Purge, Combust and Aven Mindcensor might be nice. Torpor or would be really nice versus blue decks, and it is sweet with Vexing Devil. Kor Firewalker is great for the mirror/burn.
