With Kinnan in play, Basalt Monolith makes infinite colourless mana. This is a straightforward interaction that has historically been limited by the fact that Kinnan requires coloured mana to activate his ability. With Mirage Mirror, it is possible to use infinite colourless mana and an active Basalt Monolith to perform the following loop:

Activate Mirage Mirror, targeting Basalt Monolith. (Hold priority) Activate Mirage Mirror, targeting a land. (Hold priority again) Repeat this process a billion or more times. Once the stack begins to resolve, Mirage Mirror will alternate between being a copy of a land in play and a Basalt Monolith. When Mirror is a land, you can respond to Mirror's subsequent activation on the stack by tapping it for a coloured mana. After resolving the next activation on the stack (turning Mirror into a Basalt Monolith), you can respond to the subsequent trigger by using Basalt Monolith's untap ability.
