As a long time fan of cEDH, watching countless decks establish huge advantage with Thrasios, Triton Hero and Seedborn Muse has been a very common theme. In fact, it is part of many win conditions in many decks that use them.

This Pioneer deck takes a shot at trying to do something semi-similar. The star of the show here is Kinnan, Bonder Prodigy with the sweet ability to dig six and grab a creature, slamming it down. The idea is that you would be able to use this ability semi-well with plenty of mana dorks to generate value. To top it off? Wilderness Reclamation can untap our resources so we can possibly activate Kinnan multiple times.

Thanks to WAR, we have some other OP cards, such as Neoform. This allows us to have a possible 8 Kinnans without much of a second thought. We can also use this lovely card to enable some brilliant sideboard options. Suddenly, cards like Selfless Spirit are tutorable at instant speed. It allows for the good stuff that's for sure. Another small but very good interaction is tutoring Incubation Druid with neoform, which automatically enables it to tap for 3, 4 if you have Kinnan.

Lastly, the payoff with Kinnan. Obviously, Thrasios pretty much says "pay 4 mana draw a card and if it is a land slam it down tapped." Kinnan does not do that. Instead, we get to slam cards like Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger, Worldspine Wurm, and Ashen Rider. Another cool interaction that Kinnan allows us to do is if in the face of removal of some sort, or a deadly spell, we can activate Kinnan in resposne in hopes that we hit our answer.
