Not as successful this time around - went 1-2.

Match 1: vs. Bant Human Company (1-2). It took me way too long to find my first Displacement Wave game one, resulting in a loss. Game two went my way, with a couple of Sphinx of the Final Words and a good Displacement Wave carrying me to victory. Game three was close, but ultimately I couldn't get enough damage on the board fast enough.

Match 2: vs. B/R Vampires (1-2). A close game one victory thanks to a couple of Gaea's Revenges, followed by two losses games two and three due to not seeing a single Displacement Wave - and in game three, getting land-flooded, too.

Match 3: vs. Jund Midrange (2-0). Two quick, easy games. Got early Gaea's Revenge/Sphinx of the Final Word drops both times and swung to victory.

No rewards this week, although my games against the Vampire deck have shown that I'm relying a little too heavily on Displacement Wave against aggressive decks, even with my very aggro-focused sideboard. I'll reconsider some of my sideboard decisions, maybe keeping in some Altered Egos or replacing Guardian of Tazeem/Evolving Wilds with Drowner of Hope or Foe-Razer Regent. Or, biting the bullet and shelling out for a playset of Sylvan Advocates.

Rather than Greenwarden of Murasa have you considered Pulse of Murasa it's instant plus the life gain is a bonus. You could pull off some nice aggressive moves, swing with Gaea's Revenge into a board where it's going to die then pulse it back to use on the next turn. Even better can be Greenwarden of Murasa + Pulse of Murasa infinite life combo.

@monkeyprophet:

Thank you for the suggestion, but I'm going to keep Greenwarden of Murasa in. The reason I chose that card specifically was because I needed some sort of graveyard recovery that Kiora, Master of the Depths could search out, to get back any milled Displacement Waves. That Gaea's Revenge play you mentioned DOES sound really cool, though.
