See...there are so many things I want this deck to have...but it's mildly synergistic...so what the hell do I remove? I own this deck in paper, and I own chalice...i just have no idea where it slots in here...any suggestions SynergyBuild?

I don't know too much about beatdown to be honest, I know how it works in modern/legacy/standard. I can even understand how the most competitive stax lists use it as a back-up wincon, but normally, it isn't a major win condition for EDH.

I know...but occasionally it's fun to turn a few creatures with 50+ power sideways and just watch the color drain from your opponents face. Ultimately I'm gonna shift this deck into infect...but damn it's fun right now. Haha

Well SynergyBuild, I did end up taking out Tuskguard Captain. I actually don't own an Everflowing Chalice, I had it confused with an Eternity Vessel sitting in my binder. Haha. Memory fail. Made quite a few changes that I think will ultimately be much better...what do you think?

Finally pulled a Doubling Season from battle bond, that set was phenomenal and I've had great pulls from it. So it slotted straight in over Cauldron of Souls. I feel like this deck is getting stronger all the time.

Today or in total? I opened 6 today, I think I've opened 30 in total? Land Tax F, Sea of Clouds F, Brightling, and Doubling Season are the most notable. Also got a few Mind's Eye, a couple of the commander lands, Magus of the Candelabra F, Diabolic Intent, Greater Good, Vigor F, and Archfiend of Despair.

I've also gotten 6 planeswalkers and a Mana Drain F in the last month and a half since I started playing again...I've basically just had god pulls quite a bit. My M19 prerelease pack I got Death Baron Promo, Nicol Bolas, the Ravager Flip and Ajani, Adversary of Tyrants.

It isn't even in a deck yet. Haha. It doesn't slot into any of my constructed decks. However, I am thinking about building Tasigur Control/Combo...it'll fit straight in there. I decided not to take Meren the combo route, I'm just going to maintain my value plan. Ill go combo with Tasigur as that gives me a better color scheme anyway. :p

I made a similar one not long ago but haven't updated it to include the newer sets. Your inclusion of Pir and Toothy looks fun. May give it a try too.

Have you considered Ajani Goldmane? His -1 puts a +1/+1 counters on all your creatures. Proliferate would make that +2/+2 per turn and Ajani gains a loyalty counter. So with Atraxa online, Ajani will stay loyal to you for a long time.

@ScionsStillLive - That seems like a decent card, but I don't own one, and I'm not sure i need additional ways to add counters. Currently I'm testing to see what ratio of counter placers to beneficiaries i should run. If i need to pick up some more placers, i will definitely keep it in mind. Thank you
