semi-competitive, I wanted a kitchen table feel with bigger costing cards like the angels. Actually getting them out is rather easy the first and even second games because my 1-3 drops are threatening enough for them to waste removal. The main idea after the kitchen table feel was to replace actual spells with the battalion mechanic. Getting it to work isn't that hard either, not over extending is really the key the creature are going to be removed a lot so I try to never have more than 4 out at a time which is enough to give most decks trouble.

Aurelia is just tits with this. Boros elites can get to be 5/5s and firefists can negate 2 blockers, while firemane can cast helix all day long. Great emperor/general deck too.
