Maybeboard

*Kitty Cleave

Playstyle

 • Opportunistic

 • Voltron

 • Removal

 • Moderate Stax

**Opportunistic** Swing at player when you’re as sure as possible you can get damage through.

**Voltron** Get a little cat on the field, give him some equipment, buff him with your commander and look for big hits/one shots.

**Removal** Because the deck relies on combat damage, you want to keep the board free of blockers and stax pieces that make it hard to attack into. White has the best over all removal in the game, and green has the best artifact/enchantment removal.

**Moderate Stax** White and green has a lot of one-sided stax pieces to slow down the rest of the table.

Path to Victory

  1. Get a little kitty on the board ASAP. There are a lot of low CMC cats in the deck, so you can get them on the field early, pump them with your commander’s Eminence ability (from the command zone), and start swinging big on as early as turn 2.

  2. You really only need one cat on the board at a time in the early game. So save any other low CMC cats you draw to replace your current cat if it gets removed.

  3. Get your stax pieces and equipment on the board. This will help slow the rest of the table down and pump your current cat so he can swing harder/create more value.

  4. Use your removal to keep the board clean so you can get your attacks through. Combo spells to give your permanents indestructible and then board wipe.

  5. When you amas 10+ mana and think you can safely cast your commander and have enough mana to use his activated ability, cast him, activate him and pump your equipped kitty for super big hits.
