Actually, I'm going to try making this work in Esper colors! Obviously that means I must go without Herald of Kozilek, but I am unreasonably in love with Esper and that still gives me. Also, you were right the first time. I'm pretty sure Panharmonicon does in fact cause Aetherflux Reservoir to trigger twice. For it says "If an artifact or creature entering the battlefield causes a triggered ability of a permanent you control to trigger, that ability triggers an additional time." it says nothing about casting. Though, Aetherflux Reservoir says "When you cast", you do return all of them to your hand, not the battlefield, so you are casting them all again for 0 and it triggers anyway.

Lastly, I don't know if you noticed, only because I just noticed when I was commenting last, this effect goes up incrementally. So the first artifact you drop gives you 1 life, the next one gives you 2, then 3, and so on, and so on.

Yeah. The new kaladesh print depicts Liliana in Chandra's ear.

This should be a real thing. I might have to bring this to fnm

Bossblob_ This is a real thing. I'm actually tempted myself to build this deck and bring it to my LGS. It's a lot of fun to play, and should hopefully get many laughs out of people! :)

I think you just need to fill up the sideboard and maybe maindeck some removal, or at least any kind of answers that pop up in the new standard.

Bossblob_ Yeah, I was planning on doing that. I'll probably add some copies of Lost Legacy to remove nasty threats I don't want my opponents to have. I'll definitely add a few Unlicensed Disintegrations, because that card is just amazing. Maybe even Saheeli Rai and Insidious Will would be good.

I'm not sure about insidious will, but then again I'm not a pro. I just copied this deck but replaced the black mana with fumaroles and switched out the tutors and Padeems for Filigree familiars. That's my take on what you made. Seems an awesome FNM deck. Love it

Bossblob_ I really liked the idea of Filigree Familiar, it's really good as a blocker we can throw away, and together with the lifegain, it keeps you alive longer along with card advantage. I took some of your advice, and took out the Diabolic Tutors, as it really wasn't really worth having that many lands to tap for black for only two cards.

I just did some testing myself. I'd recomend using Inventor's Apprentice as a 3 or 4 of in the sideboard. It's really the only way that you can survive in the early game. I lost every game that i didn't have one.

you want Glassblower's Puzzleknot. Scrying is really strong, and easily hits zero mana. id also run Terrarion over the useless equipment, seeing as you aren't likely to win without the reducers in play anyways. Also Cultivator's Caravan is a rainbow rock that get piloted by inspector

I don't like Cultivator's Caravan because I feel that we want to play one of our other creatures on 3, and the mana isn't really that useful. However I do like Smuggler's Copter for the ability to play it on 2, save an artifact for Panharmonicon and then follow it up with a creature that can pilot it. it then becomes a 3/3 flying on 3, and can block for a while, cycling for important cards, and saving your other creatures. Also Terrarion is obviously better than the Bone Saw. the draw from Terrarion can really help and the mana fixing doesn't hurt post sideboard. It allows Lost Legacy to be cast much easier. I like Cathar's Shield over Bone Saw because it can sometimes save one of your creatures and can allow you to attack and block vs. aggro, or in a match that goes into topdeck mode. i also think Incendiary Flow should replace 2-3 of the Unlicensed Disintegration because it is less mana intensive and 3 life doesn't matter when your win condition deals 50. Hope this helps

This is what I came up with in the end http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/aetherflux-reservoir-combo-2/

I do like the idea of Terrarion, so that will definitely be added. However, I'm not sure about the vehicles (I'll have to get them more), but I do agree that Smuggler's Copter would probably work better than Cultivator's Caravan and I would rather have it being able to be crewed by all the creatures in the deck, not just Foundry Inspector. This deck doesn't really run low on mana, either, because the highest CMC is only 4. Also, I like the inclusion of Incendiary Flow, but I'll probably only put 2 in the sideboard because with Unlicensed Disintegration, the three damage can be redirected to an opposing Planeswalker. Also, killing a creature is going to be more valuable in this deck, since the game should go into the later turns.

The three damage from unlicensed Disintegration cannot be redirected to a planes walker. It says its source's controller, and the planes walker can't control a permanent.

This is fantastic!

JardBard says... #25

JBarsam22 Even though the planeswalker doesn't control the creature, the 3 damage targets the player, and after the spell targets that player, you can change the target to a planeswalker they control.

Rule 212.9g: If noncombat damage would be dealt to a player by a source controlled by an opponent, that opponent may have that source deal that damage to a planeswalker the first player controls instead.
