They serve no purpose, especially at sorcery speed. Why keep it in? Replace it with maybe more cards spoiled from kaladesh?

this is meant to be an aggro deck how do those not fit in to this? gives a creature 4/4 and trample. so on turn three they are probably at about 13

also just saying if I do take them out they will be replaced by evolutionary leap. and I will be replacing the 4 drop that gives me 3 energy with something like Verdurous Gearhulk

Ok, in the end it's your decision. Also, what are the roles of Arborback Stomper and Filigree Familiar? Just curious why you want lifegain.

arborback is for when I get in difficult situations and the filigree is for card draw

Cool card spoiled Multiform Wonder. What do u think?

Also if I were u I'd get better card draw than the familiar like Tormenting Voice but I definitely undestand the use of the arborback.

I like Multiform Wonder except for the fact that it's a 5 drop. if it was a four drop it'd be awesome. and the main reason Tormenting Voice isn't in here is cause I don't want to discard some of my creatures. and in testing I barely have any excess lands

I agree with your input on the multiform wanderer. Let's wait and see if better card draw gets spoiled, since the filgree is a death trigger, not an entry trigger.

have made an update to the deck to make it a bit more aggro in my opinion

The red gearhulk has been spoiled... do you think it would fit in this deck? By the time you play him you're probably running out of gas, so he might be a good call to get that last bit of damage in.

Combustible Gearhulk

In all honesty I really want to put him in here. the only issue I have is I don't see hitting six lands a lot of the time. that's what the Eldritch Evolution is for so I can fetch the green one. so if I play this guy I need to play a couple of 4 drops and then I feel like I will be entering a midrange vs more aggro. so at this point what would everyone suggest

September 12, 2016 12:44 p.m.

mavoricke says... #14

also I think if I play the red one I will need to be playing 25 lands

_Delta_ says... #15

I have done just that, I have made a midrange and aggro version of the deck now. Which I suggest you try as well perhaps and see what you like more.

would anyone like to collaborate on a naya gearhulk midrange?

_Delta_ says... #17

I'm in fact making one just now. I will show it here soon.

Now this is simply a quick sketch, but here it is so far.

alright so I think big red is going to be a one of in here. he is going to take the place of one of the Larger Than Life. 1 Larger Than Life will be a land and the last 2 will be either Incendiary Flow or Collective Defiance

September 12, 2016 3:12 p.m.

For the sake of hilarity:

Woodweaver's Puzzleknot ---> Electrostatic Pummeler ---> Larger Than Life, activate, activate, swing 20 trample on turn 4. Key to the City if you want to add injury to lethal insult, and perhaps some countermagic.

That would be quite amusing NotSquishedYet. I will in fact be using that card probably as it looks powerful.

mavoricke How many Arlinn Kord  Flip did you put in? because if you only have the one in there, the chances of hitting it are very slim. If you're going to run something as potentially game changing as a planes walker you need to have 2 or 3. I wouldn't be so quick to drop it.

September 13, 2016 9:05 a.m.

mavoricke says... #23

I has 2 in there

September 13, 2016 9:13 a.m.

Ice_Water says... #24

mavoricke I would use at least 3, Arlinn is way too good in this deck to not run her at all.

September 13, 2016 9:16 a.m.

mavoricke says... #25

also in taking the 2 Arlinn Kord  Flip out and putting the Verdurous Gearhulk in along with Matter Reshaper I get more out of them.
