hkmm. I'll think about it. I'm not really sure cause I've only tested this version a few times I plan on plying it the first night I can

so a new card was spoiled today and was wondering what everyone thinks. bomat courier. I feel like this could solve our problem when we run out of has. also it goes in line with our aggro base. so you have a 1/1 base with haste that you put out turn one into Voltaic Brawler into a Filigree Familiar or Matter Reshaper then turn four you bring our verdurous hulk along with whatever you grabbed from your reshaper if that was it. tempted to drop the Longtusk for them. but we will have to see.

How are you putting Verdurous Gearhulk out on turn 4?

I do think Bomat Courier merits a place in aggro decks such as this one. It helps the deck curve out nicely, can help with card advantage, and provides haste to take advantage of the turns where your opponent cannot play creatures yet. The only negative is how easy this thing will die.

Ryjo Eldritch Evolution also I agree with how easy it will die but if it will die instead make sure you have mama open to sacrifice it. because it says when it atracks vs deals damage

mavoricke,
I've really just started on an Energy brew, so I appreciate what you've pulled together here!

I was wondering if you'd looked at Zada, Hedron Grinder or Mirrorwing Dragon? Seems they'd be completely bonkers with Harnessed Lightning, but I'm not sure if they're worth the slots ...

Draw well!

clayperce for me they wouldn't be worth it at all. so originally this deck was strictly energy. every card did something with energy and then I realized. there has never been a deck that forces a particular effect so hard that was good. delirium plays itself til you have it. things like prowess are just there landfall this past time wasn't really good. I don't want to push this mechanic to hard. you want to let it play itself out.

mavoricke,
Yeah, I was really hesitant about even trying Energy at first for exactly that reason (well, except for in Limited).
Like you though, I figured it was worth a try. Should make for some fun playtesting, if nothing else :-)

like in my deck the energy plays itself if you want a straight energy deck I feel like you'll need three colors to force the game your way
