BrokenZygoma - Along with Adarkar Valkyrie, while they are nice in theory, in practice I almost never have been able to utilize their abilities. I've found with Kaalia I need to accept that my guys will only be out on the board for a round or two.

More creatures. With Kaalia, you can get them out really easily and you really aren't pushing this deck to it's potential with only 18 creatures.

JamesKrell - Number of creatures is also a concern of mine, though I find I only need one to hit the battlefield in order to make game. Any advice on what to get rid of for another creature?

You've got a lot of board wipes, and a lot of mana ramp. You don't really need mana ramp since you can get your creatures out with Kaalia. The board wipes I would caution since you are running a heavily creature based deck. I would throw in a couple black creature removal spells and remove the board wipes. Cloudshift, lotus petal, umezawa's jitte, chrome mox, gilded lotus, erratic portal, and grim monolith should go, in my opinion. Throw in Gisela, Blade of GoldnightMTG Card: Gisela, Blade of Goldnight and Oros, the AvengerMTG Card: Oros, the Avenger for a start.

The mana ramp is in place to try and get Kaalia out by T2 or T3. It's technically even possible for her to come out hasted with Lightning Greaves on T1 with this deck. Also, the mana ramp will enable me to put out creatures without relying on Kaalia in case she's shot down.

The Cloudshift is there to take advantage of the numerous ETB creatures. Umezawa's Jitte is simply amazing :) Erratic Portal is another incredibly powerful card for this deck. Not only can I bounce Kaalia back to my hand when she's targeted with a spell, but I can bounce opponent creature's back with it. It also makes it great for recurring ETB effects, or bouncing Rakdos back to my hand.

As for board wipes, I think more people would lean towards that I have too few in place. As it stands, I think the deck is just right (though will probably change numerous times by next month :P) - I use the tutors and even Entomb mostly to fetch the right creature I need, so there's also that. Usually either Iona or Rakdos to kick things off ;)
