After months of being neglected as a $5 Dragonlord Kolaghan rains HATEFUL DEATH on the battlefields!!

Basically, this deck kills. Whatever creature or planeswalker our opponents cast is killed. We run Hero's Downfall, Foul-Tongue Invocation and Murderous Cut. To wipe the board we have 3 Crux of Fate and 1 Perilous Vault, for when things get really nasty.

But control doesn't simply exist by answering what occurs, it also stops threats from resolving. We have 3 Duress and 3 Despise in the mainboard to constantly scout our opponent's hand, and two Kolaghan's Command which is a beautiful swiss army knife.

All of this wondeful tech can be fetched by 3 copies of the lovely Lilliana Vess , or we can Sign in Blood or Read the Bones our way into it.

How do we win? Well, Lilliana Vess is pretty proficient at winning the game, but her friend Dragonlord Kolaghan or even Ugin, the Spirit Dragon can slide in for a very effective win condition.
