Definitely add Mycosynth Lattice. This will combo with Darksteel Forge to give all of your permanents indestructibility. The deck is a good concept, but Eldrazi are a tough tribe to work with at times.

Oh yeah, I forgot to add Mycosynth. That was definitely a part of the plan, and yeah, Eldrazi as I am figuring out can be difficult but my play style is big creatures that do big things and the Eldrazi are a cool concept to me so I wanted to give it a shot. Thanks for the comment!

Mimic Vat , Voltaic Key , Unwinding Clock, Clock of Omens , Conjurer's Closet , Blinkmoth Urn , and Extraplanar Lens. Make a lot of manna make and make Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger enter the battle field as many times as possible.

I play a lot of EDH, although I am still not crystal clear on how exiling works on commanders. If I exile Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger doesn't he go back to the command zone? And wouldn't that make it impossible to "un-exile" him? Wouldn't I just have to pay the extra cost of bringing him back out? Which is 2 mana extra if I'm not mistaken?

The_Hunter says... #5

you can chose where your commander goes so you can choose to put him in exile(This also workers with any zone your commander would enter).

Oh ok lol, thanks for clearing that up. Ok so I want to bring Ulamog back into play as many times as I can? Ulamogs active ability of exiling 2 permanents doesn't trigger on entering the battlefield, it triggers on cast. Exiling and bringing him back multiple times wouldn't do much good, would it?

No your right it is on cast so my bad it doses nothing lol. The mana cards are still fine but you could use Erratic Portal , Belbe's Portal , Urza's Incubator , Bane of Bala Ged , and Conduit of Ruin.

Ashnod's Altar + Dross Scorpion + Myr Turbine + ( Arcbound Crusher and/or Rocket Launcher). Arena of the Ancients( you could abuse this) and Brass Herald are just probably good in your deck.

I think I'll pick up Erratic Portal, Bane of Bala Ged, Conduit of Ruin, Belbe's Portal, and probably Vedalken Orrery Thanks for the suggestions. Looking again at Mycosynth Lattice, it's out of my price range at the moment.

Paradise Plume doesn't just work on you. It says "Whenever A player plays a spell of the chosen color". So, in my case, I have a friend that plays and all color deck and a friend that plays U/R, so when I play Paradise Plume, I would probably pick Blue to be the color, and then every time either of my friends play a Blue card, I get one life, AND I can still use that Blue mana to pay for any general mana costs. (, , , etc.) So, even though I can't choose "Colorless" as a color, I still get tons of health and can use that mana for any general mana costs I want, that's a win-win from where I sit.

I saw your deck too and it's pretty nice. You have some cards that I couldn't afford at this point in time. It seems that your deck is more creature based. This deck, which I haven't finished yet by the way (the rest of the cards are coming in the mail), is more focused on big creatures that do big things and infinite combos. Once I finish this deck I am going to update the description to give a break down of my thought process behind it and what it can do. This deck can win on turn 5 no matter how many people you are playing with if you get lucky with your draws.

zactrixo I wrote an answer to your comment about Paradise Plume above this. Just wanted you to see it and hope it clears up the reason behind using it.

Both the legal Eldrazi Titans would be great additions.

Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre

Kozilek, Butcher of Truth

Extra ramp, if you think you need more:

ArantirTheDestroyer Thanks for the comment! I am already running Palladium Myr, and Hedron Archive, I could swap out Paradise Plume for Thran Dynamo or Kozilek's Channeler. I honestly don't understand how Mana Vault is a good card, it's basically Basalt Monolith with two down sides. It's great that you get 3 mana for 1 cost, but once you tap it, you have to pay 4 to untap it and if you don't you lose 1 health per turn until you do untap it. Idk, it just doesn't make much sense to me. Could you enlighten me?

February 16, 2016 10:27 p.m.

Sorry, I must've missed the first two. The whole point of Mana Vault is that it's a 1-drop. Plus, there are ways around that untap restriction, like Unwinding Clock or Clock of Omens. All in all, I think it's a good card if you know how to use it.

ArantirTheDestroyer Oh lol yeah I totally didn't even think about untapping it by other means, I have a Clock of Omens, Unwinding Clock, AND a Voltaic Key. Maybe I should get a Mana Vault. I'll look into it, thanks for the suggestion.

February 17, 2016 1:18 a.m.

BigDrewTheAnimal, here's my own artifact deck, Jori En's Relics. I run it in there, and even if I have to untap it manually, it's usually early-game, when I'm not too big of a threat yet, so I have the luxury of waiting a turn to have my full mana suite active. Plus, EDH is a 40-life format. One damage won't hurt that much, at least for a while.

Believe me, I used to have the same opinion as you towards Mana Vault, but once I started playing it, I never went back! One of the best Turn 1's I ever had was this:

Seat of the Synod -> Sol Ring -> Mana Vault -> Hedron Archive -> Izzet Signet.

ArantirTheDestroyer Thanks for the deck link. I am currently trying to get a Mana Vault and I am trying to get a Kozilek, because I am gonna swap a Kozilek, Butcher of Truth in to command zone and put the Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger into other 99. I am also trying to get a Thran Dynamo.

That's is an insane first hand lol. 9 mana available on turn 2?! What!? Sweet dude lol.

February 17, 2016 2:51 p.m.

It was actually only 5, because I needed to untap the Vault, but then I topdecked a Gilded Lotus. Needless to say, I was set on mana for the rest of the game!

February 17, 2016 3:44 p.m.

One other thing... Since you have so many artifacts, I personally would find space for a Karn, Silver Golem in your deck, if only because he's a nice alternate win condition. I got a Karn kill last weekend, and I gotta admit, it was fun swinging with a 9/9 Darksteel Forge and a 7/7 Spine of Ish Sah, among others.

KingCarter says... #22

ArantirTheDestroyer Oh yeah true lol, I am good at math. I might actually get a Karn, I misunderstood his ability the first time I read it, now it makes more sense and is more appealing. Thanks for the suggestions, I got an Extraplanar Lens today too, so that will help with ramping.

your Dross Scorpion + Myr Turbine Combo doesn't work because Tokens are never put into the graveyard, they cease to exist.
