Sorry. Had a blind spot and didn't see the Gilder Bairn when when I looked at you deck list. lol. I was going to suggest Triskelion but I see you've already added it to your maybeboard. Very good. Carry on then.

Personally I would add Training Grounds and/or Heartstone

Training grounds + Kraj + Pili-Pala = Infinite +1/+1 counters on everything! :D

Hope this helps.

rawhawk I have been considering Training Grounds for quite a while... my problem with it is that there's only around 10 different creatures with activated abilities that use colourless mana, and half of those I don't need to use very often, so it would be a dead card a lot of the time. I really wanted to put it in, but for a combo deck like this to work I need cards that will contribute in some way no matter what other cards I draw

Why not add Spike Feeder to gain infinite life? I've added it to my version of this deck and having both Spikes on the field is hilarious.

Wow sorry I just saw this now... Kraj does not inherit the dies part of Phyrexian Devourer -- that is not the activated ability. That's pretty much the entire point.

Boaner It might work in most playgroups but my group has a lot of decks that do a fair amount of commander damage, usually people will die from the commander before they would from normal damage.

illumfolly Oh yeah I just noticed that, that's an awesome combo, but I'm still a bit torn on what to remove. Simic Manipulator and Enclave Cryptologist have both proven to be exceptionally useful in almost every game that I draw them, plus needing very little mana makes it easier to combo out later game. The cryptologist is pretty easy to level up because I end up getting a large amount of mana with kraj, and the card draw means that when I get a combo it is very difficult for anyone to have an answer to it. In addition Ethereal Usher has proven helpful in pretty much every game as well, because it is a way to either allow the kraj to get through once combo'd, give me a source of mana to multiply to infinity or get an insane amount of card draw for an advantage.

Basically (and this might contradict what I have said), I want to put it in now that I understand how amazing Phyrexian Devourer is, but I'm a bit torn as to what to remove, I'd like to remove something on the higher mana spectrum, my thought right now is probably Thornling, but I just got back from work and it's like 3am so I'm a bit tired to be making any decisions, I'll look back at this tomorrow. Sorry for the confusing post, That's seriously an awesome find, thanks for your input I would have never thought of that on my own

What about the Simic Ragworm? Only costs one more than the Horseshoe Crab and does the same thing.

Yeeh I could've sworn I wrote something about it but i may have closed the window, Simic Ragworm has replaced Ivy Lane Denizen. Thanks Tk42one!

throw in a Blue Sun's Zenith so you have something to spend your infinite mana on, mill everyone!

big_kahuna333 if I find a place to put it in I definitely will, but I think my main priority is actually getting the combo, and by that point I usually have a win con in one of my combo creatures, but that seems like an awesome way to win, I'll look into it!

Also another way to win with blue suns zenith that i forgot to mention is that you can target yourself, draw your whole deck, they play every single card in your deck.

Land stealing is a bit scum for my standards, I get that I am using infinite combos but people don't usually mind losing to me because they usually end up losing immediately after I get the combo anyways. If I added land stealing it would just be a straight up scum deck

I see no Sage of Hours. How come? Goes infinite with horseshoe crab and kraj and 5 blue mana.

NewHorizons I've decided to not put in any "take an extra turn" style cards mainly because at this point in the deck you will have a good chance of winning instantly if you get the combo anyways, and taking a bunch of extra turns can slooooow the game down. I've noticed a lot of playgroups put a soft ban on extra turn-based cards so I decided to leave it out

Thornbite Staff would give a bunch of free untaps and goes infinite if your opponents is dumb enough to play Royal Assassin, Ghoulcaller Gisa etc.

Tidewater Minion untaps EVERYTHING with Illusionist's Bracers

Psionic Gift on anything you can untap forever works.

carpecanum Thanks! I appreciate the input! I may consider Tidewater Minion, but I already have a few much lower CMC cards that do essentially the same thing. As for Thornbite Staff and Psionic Gift they would definitely work as a win con, however if I am able to infinite loop I would most likely be able to win anyways just by swinging face with infinite +1+1 counters, and if not I have enough card draw engines to be able to draw into something like Knacksaw Clique. At the moment the majority of my win cons come with extra utility which is why I tend to avoid cards with something like straight damage. That still leaves Thornbite Staff, which admittedly would get a fair amount of free untaps, but I feel like that utility is not quite worth the mana investment as it does not provide protection to the creature, and makes it more predictable what my aim for the turn is.

Thanks for your input though! I'm definitely going to consider Thornbite Staff as it works much differently than I have been working with this deck and that could work well! I'm sorry that I didn't take the majority of your suggestions but I'm glad you suggested them because I've never had those cards suggested before and I really like it when somebody with a fresh view gives their input!

Prodigal Sorcerer for infinite burn damage in blue would be hilarious. One more win con, and it's super cheap.

Mist Dragon would keep Kraj out of danger and the ability to fly at will.
