The deck is meant to be a fun "build your monster" kind of deck...

Ideally you'd be putting +1/+1 counters on each of your creatures, and the deck has a fair density of small creatures to ensure that you can empty a lot of your hand out pretty often.

Prime Speaker Zegana is the panic button. If your hand gets too small just cast her and refill, though ideally it's something you won't be doing soon in the game.

On top of that, the deck has no early ramp, unless you count Greenseeker, mainly because it shouldn't be relying on the fatties until someone decides to boardwipe.
