Nice deck! I've been looking for a powerful Krenko deck.

I would replace Mass Hysteria with something else. I always avoid giving my opponents anything for free. And giving all of their creatures haste is pretty powerful. With all of your other effects that give you haste it doesn't seem necessary to dig this deep for one more haste effect.

I'm willing to bet that Final Fortune ends up being a game winner for you less often than Hellrider could be - both of them let you "win more" but Final Fortune is a much bigger gamble to play.

  • Helm of Possession is a way for you to stop other players form using their generals without returning them to their command zones.

  • Gratuitous Violence Is a way for you to greatly increase your damage output - it does combo nicely with Warstorm Surge (since it has the creature deal the damage).

  • Goblin Sharpshooter is pretty powerful Vs tokens. You might want to consider him since he can prevent your opponents from having any 1/1's on the field.

  • Insurrection has won me the game each time I have cast it in multiman EDH. When you control every creature there can't be any blockers >:D

  • Roar of the Crowd or Mob Justice could allow you to burn someone to low health before swinging. Roar of the crowd could be used very late game spotting let's say 9 lands for example, if you didn't have board presence, and still do great damage for 4 mana.

why no Goblin Sharpshooter + Basilisk Collar ? its just a too good of a combo not to run

Thank you guys for the suggestions! Mass Hysteria is very much worth it actually; I'm winning too fast for other people to get significant use out of it and the 1 mana cost is extremely relevant. Global haste for me means that not only do I get an extra use out of krenko but that his effect is immediate, and getting that down before turn 3 is incredibly useful.

Final Fortune wins me games almost on its own, and I have never lost after casting it. For two mana (very relevant) it untaps all my permanents, draws me a card, and gives my creatures pseudo-haste. I don't think that Hellrider is a bad card, I just don't think that it is that good without already having global haste. In terms of numbers it is another lord while not being a goblin itself, which makes it less than optimal.

Goblin Sharpshooter is good vs. tokens, but otherwise worthless. I prefer player removal to creature removal, and by the time I make my play no one will have been able to amass a relevant number of creature tokens to act as reasonable blockers.

I love Insurrection , and may include it at some point depending on if I want to take the direction away from hyper-aggro toward a more mid-game approach, but for now it'll just be a dead card in my hand.

Instead of Roar of the Crowd and Mob Justice I'd rather use Goblin War Strike , and I still may, I just shy away from one-shot cards like that if they only kill 1 player. Unfortunately, mono-red cannot compete with green ramp in terms of hyper-aggro and as such must be able to bounce back from wipes and removal as well as possible to try and win in the mid-game, so enchantments/artifacts are preferable.

Goblin Sharpshooter isn't very useful by itself and especially not for 3 mana, and basilisk collar doesn't do much in the deck unless it's attached to it. Non-synergistic two card combos are not very attractive to me.

bdrichar I have had Hellrider kill multiple people on his own in my version. For me it's about the direct damage. I don't actually have to HIT you with my goblins I just need to declare. That can be relevant when someone is Fog ging to prevent combat damage.

Hmm, an interesting point! I don't have any turbo-fog decks in my meta, but that is a good counter to it... It still relies on swinging, so it isn't as useful against Propaganda style effects, but still it's good to know. Thanks!

Goblin Sharpshooter can be used for one other thing besides clearing 1/1's or abusing deathtouch.

Let's say you swing 20 goblins at someone and they block and kill 10 of them. Goblin Sharpshooter will get 10 separate untap trigger effects. Meaning you could then assign 10 single points of damage wherever you wanted.

I'm not saying he's incredible but he might be better for you than Anger . Anger isn't bad but he's not user friendly. Ogre Battledriver seems like he'd fit your deck better in this slot.

bdrichar It's not just fog effects. There are effects like Guardian of the Gateless + Indestructibility /Darksteel Plate that have shut me down in the past. Hellrider allows me to simply declare with 40 goblins and that person is dead.

I've also found that Clickslither is an amazing sac outlet and beater. The ultimate shenanigans I pulled involved Hellrider and Clickslither . Declared for 40 with 40 1/1s at one person (killing them), then sacced them for a 83/83 trample going at someone else.

No thornbite staff? is it because of the infinite-combo potential?

skybug12 , yes, and also it is just a tad too slow for my tastes.
