Value and synergy in the Goblin horde: The core philosophy of any red-centric strategy has always revolved around dealing the most amount of damage in the least time possible. As such, long and "grindy" games tend to be Red's weakest suit, where its resilience and reliability is often tested. This is especially true, if the board is constantly wiped and key threats are negated by permission spells in control-dominant metas; or against tempo builds where tokens are often overwhelmed by bigger creatures or are forced to chump in late-game scenarios. Red decks have however defined the Duel Commander as of late for utilizing efficient creatures and spells that stick to it's core nature of speed and aggressiveness. But this principle is, of course, strictly inapplicable when building a solid tribal deck that is also Red.

In the current meta, some tribal decks dominate the meta in terms of win rate like Arahbo Cat tribal, pseudo-tribal Yuriko Ninjitsu decks, or 5c Najeela Warrior decks that define the aggro strategy. Ironically, none of those decks have Red in their color pie save for Najeela (but let's be honest, Red is just splashed in the other four colors.) As such, it is a challenge to create a Red-Deck-Wins that utilizes a tribal shell.

It seeks to utilize speed and resilience against Red's most common weaknesses. It basically attacks in two fronts: aggressive fast clock and "go-wide" token strategy for massive pay-off. This deck is birthed by recent developments in Goblin design like Goblin Chainwhirler and Legion Warboss that have seen extensive Standard play.
