Modified deck as follows:

  • Horde of Boggarts removed, replaced with Goblin Engineer - I simply found Horde to be lacking in this deck. High on the curve and my opponents most often had plenty of creatures to block it. Goblin Engineer replaces it, as I am often target for artifact removal in an attempt to slow me down and Engineer should let me get things back.

  • Throne of the God-Pharaoh removed, replaced with Altar of the Brood - If my goblins are tapped, I'm already winning. Altar of the Brood allows me to have an impact on opponents, even if they have a board wipe in hand after Krenko's ability resolves.

  • Ib Halfheart, Gobling Tactician removed, replaced with Battle Hymn. Never really noticed Ib to do much. Again, high on the curve and so by the time it is played I'm usually far enough ahead for the effect to not be worth it. Trying out Battle Hymn.

  • Mountain removed, replaced with Darksteel Citadel - Synergy with Goblin Engineer.
