Originally inspired by the Commander's Quarters deck tech.

Aetherflux Reservoir is the main way this deck wins. Bolas's Citadel is the easiest way to circumvent mana costs and storm off. The deck's many tutors ensure that both of these pieces will show up.

Sensei's Divining Top in addition to the above pieces ensures that you will be able to continue casting spells off the top of your library without being interrupted by lands. In fact, if your life total is too low to cast the top card, the Top can be a good way to get the ball rolling. Once the storm count gets to about 3-4 for Aetherflux Reservoir, you should be breaking even or even net gaining life off of each spell cast with Bolas's Citadel.

If Bolas's Citadel doesn't happen, you could also use Blood Celebrant and Greed with K'rrik to generate the mana and cards you need.

Several card draw outlets serve a similar purpose to the Top.

Once the Reservoir and Citadel get rolling, it will be pretty easy to pick people off with the Reservoir's 50 life ability. By the time that happens, you're likely to have drawn/cast almost your entire deck, which means you would probably also have enough devotion to close out with Gray Merchant of Asphodel . If Sanguine Bond is cast early on, you won't even need to blast people with the reservoir; you'll be whittling them down along the way!
