Entire Maybeboard is on Puca and will be tested when they arrive.

Deck is running quite well, no major issues...just gonna test some new things mainboard.

Mistcutter Hydra might be added to handle the rise in blue decks in my meta (I feel partially to blame)

Sakashima the Impostor was one of my first ever rares, I regret trading him away all those years ago...he fits into my copy/permission/tempo nonsense build quite well.

Freyalise, Llanowar's Fury spitefully going to be tested against my gf's Mogis, God of Slaughter stax deck.

Riptide Laboratory to abuse good wizard etbs in this deck, narrow but devastating when its relevant.

Kederekt Leviathan wishful thinking, but it would be nice to have more board wipes...though currently I recur Cyclonic Rift, Evacuation, and AEtherspouts efficiently enough to demoralize/control the board.

Summary Dismissal will find a home as well i'm sure :)

Nephalia Academy thrown in over Novijen, Heart of Progress.

Novijen always ended up just being a colorless mana, replaced it with a colorless mana with a passive ability that helps against the main threat to the deck (total hand destruction)

Cryptolith Rite and Awakening Zone work too well together to not include.

more chump blockers/mana dorks sounds pretty beneficial to me.

Let alone alongside Master Biomancer and Pathbreaker Ibex

Shaman of Forgotten Ways

early game ramp, and a sneaky breeki win con.

I almost always meet formidable requirements and can activate this to finish off problem opponents.

Voidmage Husher could be nice, though Summary Dismissal is a better catch all

now the question is...

where do I put Selvala, Heart of the Wilds?

testing Selvala, Heart of the Wilds over Courser of Kruphix for the time being.

torrential gearhulk over Greenwarden of Murasa possibly

nissa, vital force over Nissa, Vastwood Seer  Flip definitely

and likely Rashmi, Eternities Crafter over Selvala, Heart of the Wilds who is just sitting in my hand constantly

Lich's Mirror possibly

though banking on me losing seems a silly use of a slot

Tempted to test Horizon Chimera since I have seen it dominate in budget edh.

I have little to no lifegain in this deck, so constant little "ups" will add up.

Its got trample and flying built in to abuse Master Biomancer/Vorel of the Hull Clade

It sustains me with a life buffer with no additional input during durdle/stall tactics and lols with Sylvan Library

Its an excellent copy target (gaining 2 life a card is devastating)

I even get the option of a flying chump blocker with flash (my flying count is remarkably low) so it doubles as a combat trick and tempo shifter.

If I do include Verdurous Gearhulk it would pair very well with this lil guy.

That's a lot of worth on a 4 cmc body

Arcanis the Omnipotent might serve better than Memnarch in the current build

creature, evasion, repeatable draw, wizard (for abuse with the eventual Riptide Laboratory)

Hunter's Insight how have I never seen this card, fits my nonsense perfectly

[Laboratory Maniac] combo with Gin would get you a win con

This may or may not have been suggested already but does the split second on Krosan Grip have any relevance or can you usually count on having a counterspell in hand? Basically, what I'm asking is does Krosan Grip have a place in this deck?

to be honest im not sure. You have enough counter spells to not need it for the enchantments, and i think you have enough not to have to rely on split second, but you have little artifact destruction that i can see. I built a similar deck around kruphix but it was a sea monster tribal so it was very different. If i were you i would switch the grip for lab maniac.

Thank you both for your comments!

(chirz2792)

I usually have plenty of artifact/enchant removal through counterspells and Acidic Slime/Terastodon effects alongside copy/flicker abuse (Cackling Counterpart, Evacuation, Eternal Witness, Deadeye Navigator and etc. give me free reign to recast them if I need them)

The only enchants early/mid game that utterly hose my deck are drawhate effects (Spiteful Visions, Underworld Dreams, etc)

Krosan Grip is certainly on my consideration list, but the cantrip from Slice in Twain pushes it above KG in this deck for me. If this deck were to become more French oriented, I would certainly include KG, but I generally play with at least 3 other opponents.

(BigLaundry)

Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur tends to win me the game outright if not removed. I usually flash him in to force opponents to drop their hands since when I play him I have upwards of 9+ cards anyway. He never mills me to the point of danger, he usually just grabs me another win con if he doesn't get removed and I proceed to win in the next turn or so from my sheer card advantage over my opponents.

I also don't really face mill decks in my meta and I can keep them in check with my counterspells or outpace them with bodies/mana. I have never milled myself out with this deck and would likely bring Courser of Kruphix or Yavimaya Elder back into the fold over Laboratory Maniac

Caller of the Claw Might be useful against zurgo decks and just a neat trick all around, can be extremely abused with Deadeye Navigator to amass an army on someone else's turn if they do something rude.

Winding Canyons might be extremely handy, even though it is more narrow than Alchemist's Refuge it doesn't require colored mana to activate and I have colorless mana for days.

Master of the Wild Hunt is a weird one, certainly prone to copy effects, spot removal aplenty, decent body. Might toy around with if I can get my hands on one. Antlers/10

Panharmonicon is a definite maybe, it wombos and does silly things with Torrential Gearhulk, Rashmi, Eternities Crafter, Progenitor Mimic (copying a creature with an ETB), etc. Just gotta find the space.

Temur Sabertooth could be rather handy in a pinch, gives me recursive etbs and saves me from board wipes (the kitty will survive and ideally ill get to keep my good pieces)
