About The Deck

I love the Merfolk tribe. They are very versatile and usually play a great tempo strategy switching from aggro to control seamlessly. I've played Merfolk in Legacy on and off for a couple years and once Kumena, Tyrant of Orazca was spoiled I knew I had my Merfolk Commander.

The deck is built to abuse his second and third abilities of drawing cards and pumping up our Merfolk army. We can build a large army quickly and swing for the fences or sit back and draw cards and control the board till the cost is clear.

Board wipes are not a huge issue with this deck because we can rebuild quickly but mass land destruction hurts
