Kura, Secret Tron EDH (EYW: Green)

Commander / EDH Eldrazi Mono-Green

IllWarriors

It's a secret to everybody...

Your commander is important. That's why it's called commander, right? The difference here is that it's important for your commander to die...

The primary use of our commander is to let it die fast so we can search up the three Tron lands as soon as possible. To do this, there are a number of different sac outlets for us to use. Altar of Dementia, Greater Good, and a number of one-off spells will helps us get there quickly. Once we have Urza's Tower, Urza's Power Plant, and Urza's Mine in hand, the whole deck opens up for play. My personal favorite sac outlet is Eldritch Evolution, since it gets your tron lands AND you'll be able to fetch something up say... maybe a Nyxbloom Ancient or Old Gnawbone? Take your pick but both crack this whole deck wide open once they hit!

Once you've got your tron lands in hand, the goal is to get them into play so you can really start wreaking havoc across the table. If you still need to build up a bit though there are some options at hand! Obviously mana rocks are helpful, but pay special attention to Thought Vessel because if you are having trouble getting the mana you need for your big stuff, this rock will make sure you're at least able to hold onto those cards for later. I know that I could easily throw in the best mana rocks like Mana Crypt, Mana Vault and so on, but that's not really how I personally wanted to build the deck. Feel free for your own build though! I know it'll speed the deck up quite a bit! Alongside your mana rocks, you've got access to Palladium Myr, Plague Myr, and a few other dorks to get ramped into your heavy hitters. On top of dorks, there are tons of ways to get specific lands to your hand or to the battlefield, look at Sylvan Scrying, Crop Rotation, even Ancient Stirrings will hopefully get you something useful. Exploration and Burgeoning will get your extra lands in hand into play early, and, if you can covince the table to grab their own lands, Tempt with Discovery can get all three tron lands out in one go!

Once you're set up with mana, all you need to do is start laying down card after card. Cards like Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre, Kozilek, Butcher of Truth, Pathrazer of Ulamog, and Artisan of Kozilek will make your opponents shake as they'll soon need to sacrifice their permanents as these behemoths swing in. For an extra punch we also have Emrakul, the Promised End, Blightsteel Colossus and much more to ensure your opponents can't withstand the sheer force of your massive army!

And that's the deck! It's not necessarily gonna be the fastest, but what it might lack in speed it makes up for in late game bombs! I really love how this deck plays. It's powerful yet balanced enough that it can give everyone at the table a fighting chance. Let me know if you like the deck!

Swap Old Gnawbone for Cultivator Colossus for some potential comboing off of a well timed Eldritch Evolution

Swap Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger with Craterhoof Behemoth for less "unfun" play for the table and instead try to trample for the win.

Swap Reality Smasher for God-Eternal Rhonas or Zhulodok, Void Gorger for much bigger finishing potential.
