Greetings, again, fellow MTG players. This deck is a revamped version of a deck I used to have, before I discovered TappedOut. I love vampires in general, and the MTG vampires are no exception. Used correctly, they can grow to epic proportions, and really cause a threat.
Guul Draz Assassin - A nice guy, can grow for very little, and is overall a very nice vampire.
Olivia Voldaren - The main patron of my little throng of vampires, excellent growth and the ability to take over creatures for a relatively cheap activation cost, making her just a little vulnerable to things like Pithing Needle and
Slaughter Games
.
Stromkirk Captain - Fantastic. Buffs every other vampire in this deck up and gives them a fantastic gift in First Strike. Yes, please!
Vampire Nighthawk - Wouldn't be a vampire deck if Nighthawk wasn't in it. Lifelink and Deathtouch? Couple it in with Stromkirk Captain and he's ready to be invincible in combat.
Dark Impostor - Despite a relatively expensive activation cost, he can ultimately steal your opponent's abilities, using them for yourself. Also, nice anti-God play, as long as it's Devotion is high.
Bloodline Keeper//Lord of Lineage - MOAR VAMPIRES!? Surprise. Works very well with Captivating Vampire.
Captivating Vampire - You will have LOTS of vampires out. Better take advantage of them and take your opponent's creatures.
Necropolis Regent
- Just in here for the vampire theme. Might replace her with Vampire Nocturnus, maybe.
Gemstone Caverns - I had no other lands to put in, might as well do something fun. Uniquely awesome, with the only real cost being exile a card in your hand. Exile something you don't necessarily need.
Whispersilk Cloak - Gotta protect your important dudes, depending on whoever's shining at the moment.
Beseech the Queen - Nice search engine, seeing that most things are <3 CMC.
Dismember - Nice removal, especially against some weaker Gods and indestructibles.
+1s and comments, as always, are wanted.
