Kurkesh Durdle

Commander / EDH

simson3

This deck is all about finding one of the many way this deck has to get infinite mana, and then pay that off with one of the other many ways it can use infinite mana. Sounds simple enough, well here is a non-exhaustive list of way to get infinite mana (or turns):

  1. Gilded Lotus + Kurkesh, Onakke Ancient + Voltaic Key
  2. Astral Cornucopia + Kurkesh, Onakke Ancient + Voltaic Key
  3. Kurkesh, Onakke Ancient + Voltaic Key + Everflowing Chalice + Gemstone Array
  4. Kurkesh, Onakke Ancient + Voltaic Key + Caged Sun + Prototype Portal + Great Furnace
  5. Basalt Monolith + Gemstone Array + Kurkesh, Onakke Ancient
  6. Kurkesh, Onakke Ancient + Galvanic Key + Basalt Monolith + Gilded Lotus
  7. Astral Cornucopia + Galvanic Key + Kurkesh, Onakke Ancient
  8. Kurkesh, Onakke Ancient + Galvanic Key + Everflowing Chalice + Gemstone Array
  9. Phyrexia's Core + Prototype Portal + Ugin's Nexus

Once you've used one of these or another way to get infinite mana, you still need to be able to win the game, and there are a few ways in which you can do that:

  1. Comet Storm
  2. Pyrite Spellbomb + Salvaging Station + Voltaic Key
  3. Galvanic Key + Pyrite Spellbomb + Salvaging Station
  4. Trading Post + Pyrite Spellbomb + Voltaic Key + Junk Diver + Myr Retriever
  5. Trading Post + Pyrite Spellbomb + Galvanic Key + Junk Diver + Myr Retriever

This deck could maybe benefit for a couple of other ways to win once you have infinite mana, but with the ability to draw your entire deck fairly easily once you have it with Mindless Automaton, Trading Post, Salvaging Station, etc. it shouldn't be too hard to find the win conditon you need. If you do want to include other win conditions, then Ghirapur Æther Grid, Reckless Fireweaver, Impact Tremors + Pentavus or Impact Tremors + Thopter Squadron or even Flayer Husk + Salvaging Station with either Reckless Fireweaver or Impact Tremors are all fun options.
