This deck is based around using Kydele, Chosen of Kruphix's ramp ability to power out huge spells and kill your opponents Vial Smasher the Fierce. Using card draw spells to ramp with Kydele, Chosen of Kruphix is not great because they will trigger Vial Smasher the Fierce before your big spells can. Because of this, we use artifacts and enchantments that give us extra cards on our upkeep to fuel Kydele, Chosen of Kruphix. The group hug aspect of some of these cards can also diminish the hate we get for smacking everyone randomly. Of course if you want to get evil, Notion Thief and Leovold, Emissary of Trest are pretty good at shutting down your opponents while also giving you tons of card-advantage and ramp. X-spells are pretty good for this kind of deck, because they will scale to the amount of mana you have available to use. Cost-reduction spells, like the new Undaunted ability, are also good here because they dome your opponent for more than they cost.
