Maybeboard


Kykar is an amazing commander with a lot of potential and different game plans. It is incredibly difficult for me to choose one and stick to it. I'm exploring a Spellslinger/Storm build with interactions, combos many cantrips and few win cons and this is my list.

My plan is to cast many cantrips that will trigger Ky and make lots of tokens and to sac those tokens for red mana to cast more cantrips and more spells as I draw them. I also want to play lots of Ramping Machines to help me recast Ky and bigger spells. I also have Mana Echoes, Smothering Tithe and Birgi, God of Storytelling   to help me ramp. But what I have most (because it is what I love most in those Spellslinging decks) are Draw Engines! I run Jeskai Ascendancy, Mystic Remora, Rhystic Study, Skullclamp and Whirlwind of Thought.

The combos in there are not necessarily made on purpose (expect for Iso/Rev combo). They only are an accidental combination of great cards together that can help me win the game easier. This is mostly because Ky is a combo piece herself and Jeskai spells can be pretty powerful.

Please let me know your opinion about this list and any suggestions you can give me.
