thanks for the suggestions. I like urza's incubator. Just an fyi, if you put And around card names, it stops you from having to type out what each one does.

I would like to suggest Blood Tyrant . This is a deck concept I had thought about building, but alas I did not have enough access to vamps of a color (blue).

Some good vampires that you could add are Anowon, the Ruin Sage, Blood Seeker,Bloodline Keeper Flip, Bloodlord of VaasgothDrana, Kalastria BloodchiefFalkenrath MaraudersGatekeeper of Malakir Havengul VampireKalitas, Bloodchief of Ghet Pulse Tracker Pawn of Ulamog and Stromkirk Captain I like Olivia Voldaren better as a commander. She is cheaper, can give herself +1/1 counter and steal any creature(s) with the right mana. Can also go infinite with the right combo and take everyone's creatures or kill them. With Pawn of Ulamog you can sac Eldrazi Spawn for Butcher of Malakir out. You could use 3 more creature sweepers, tutors and card drawing stuff like Rhystic Study If you are gonna be using blue.I'd put in Scroll Rack and Sensei's Divining Top and drop one use cards like Ponder and Faithless Looting. If money is an issue you can always make proxies on the computer. I have decks made almost entirely of proxies. Especially my Olivia Voldaren tribal one

whoops, Stromkirk Captain definitely should've been in there. I don't want to use Olivia Voldaren as a general because I really want to play Grixis. I don't play in a meta where infinite combos are really encouraged, so I'm also trying to avoid that. Olivia IS in the deck however. I don't like proxies unless I have the card in another deck, because they aren't legal besides casual play. I definitely need more tutors/land fetches, ideas?

I'd take out some counterspells except for Spell Crumple and HinderThose are good. But any good EDH player can just get back whatever else is sent to the graveyard. Same thing with one use creature killers. You should depend more on creatures that can stick around to do your killing. Like Anowon, the Ruin Sage, Drana, Kalastria Bloodchief, Gatekeeper of Malakir, Kalitas, Bloodchief of Ghet and the ones you have in there already. And if they get killed you can top deck them with Volrath's Stronghold or something.I think you have way too much land. 35 to 40 is usually enough. Some good tutors I use are Beseech the Queen,Demonic Tutor,Diabolic Revelation,Insidious Dreams, and Vampiric Tutor. You can always use Insidious Dreams to throw a bunch of creatures into your gy and cast Living Death. Just a thought. Some useful lands Akoum Refuge, Blackcleave Cliffs,Blood Crypt, Bloodstained Mire, Cabal Coffers,Cascade Bluffs, Command Tower, Crosis's Catacombs, Darkslick Shores,Dragonskull Summit, Drowned Catacomb,Graven Cairns,Halimar Depths,Jwar Isle Refuge,Maze of Ith,Polluted Delta,Scalding Tarn,Shizo, Death's Storehouse,Steam Vents,Sulfur Falls,Sunken Ruins, Temple of the False God, Thespian's Stage, Tolaria West,Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth, Volrath's Stronghold, and Watery Grave

You have 2x Backlash .
Cut:
- Agony Warp - Not hard removal; only marginally useful.
- Alter Reality - Not useful.
- Backlash - Ineffective.
- Blustersquall - Ineffective.
- Countersquall - Use something less color saturated.
- Dark Ritual - Only useful if you have massive draw power or need a short burst of mana to combo.
- Darkness - Not worth including.
- Diminish - Unnecessary.
- Appetite for Brains - Bad in EDH.
- Blightning - Better in 60-card.
- Call to the Netherworld - Unnecessary.
- Faithless Looting - Unnecessary.
- Feast of Blood - There are better removal spells.
- Ponder - Better in 60-card.
- Backfire - Unnecessary.
- Jace, Architect of Thought - Ineffective in EDH.
- Blade of the Bloodchief - Unnecessary.
- Assorted creatures
Are you going to stick with the vampire theme? A lot of these vampires don't do much in EDH.
You need to pick relevant and effective cards if you want the deck to do much.
