Let's try and break Ugin's Labyrinth in modern affinity.

It's a bit awkward that we have to go so hard with the full set of both Myr Enforcer and Sojourner's Companion. The only other affinity creature over 6 cmc is Mycosynth Golem and that just doesn't cut it by any means. So we have to accept that 8 slots out of the 60 can make labyrinth ridiculous, but when it's not we still have the normal affinity package. I could think about getting rid of Welding Jar, but I think that one extra 0 drop can be relevant, especially with Moonsnare Prototype now letting you tap it for mana. I get that's the perfect, and it's usually going to just help with artifact count. Though it's also a good Urza's Saga target if you don't need anything else or need some protection from removal.

I do want to cut something for the fourth Thought Monitor which it could be forge the anchor but I also really like having two of them main. It doesn't get hit by Orcish Bowmasters as well as a good chance at "drawing" more than two cards. You have about a 90% chance to get more than 3 cards, and about 70% to get 4. 8 of the possible hits are lands, so the chances to get action are a little lower with it being about 80% of getting more than 3 and about 45% to get 4. Though forge does get a bit worse after sideboarding since a lot of the sideboard are not artifacts, but it should still get more cards on average than thought monitor.

Patchwork Automaton could be interesting with Ugin's Labyrinth, but that's probably getting too greedy, needing the patchwork, the labyrinth, and one of the eight 7 drops.

UPDATE - Ended up cutting the Kappa Cannoneer. It is very strong, but felt very awkward to cast as it took the whole board to do so more often than not. Unless there was a Lavaspur Boots and you could equip it was brutal basically taking a turn off in an aggro deck to play it. I did add some Thoughtcast to help lower the curve a bit, and cut a Thought Monitor to do so. I am also contemplating cutting something for another land.
