I think we need to cut a 4 drop and maybe birds of paradise

Yup, gotta remember these digits because the goal is to cast as many cards in the order of Pi based of their CMC. There will be no infinite combos within this list, all though the deck could go infinite if copied from an opponent. We are playing solitaire to keep on churning through the deck. In the beginning it is tutor heavy, but then transitions to blink effects to increase card draw. Why play Lagrella... well, she likes pie.

Be warned as opening hands can become stuck if a tutor is countered, an ETB creature is killed, or a wheel is played. Hence why such a bazaar range of cards and low land count to fight through potential interaction. Flip cards are wonderful, split cards are wonderful, activated abilities are wonderful, cycle cards are wonderful, and Modal Double Faced cards are wonderful. Mulligans are required to make sure you can hit the first 4 numbers. Below is a count of number of cards of each cmc and how ratios should be built within the deck.

- 2 high early concentration - only at the start and then they become dead cards

- 4

- 7 The first 3 drop ideally is not your commander and only start getting heavy towards the end of the run.

- 3 Seen on #3, #19, and #23

- 4 high concentration 3 of the 4 are in the first 10 casts

- 3

- 2 The lowest priority number

- 3 (low priority)

- 4 These 9 drops need alternate casting cost as the first cast is spell 6

Curved Lines of Play

The beginning few casts are essential to setting the chain of Pi. Here we are going through the list of key cards of their tutors in pi sequence. Of course later in the game there might be more fringe tutor picks that aren't listed.

Why these Cards?

This bizarre restriction forces us to look at cards differently. I could use some help in finding improvements or concepts that I haven't explored yet. For example Lunar Hatchling allows a lower land count with it's Landcycling while doubling as a from the graveyard. The power level could be ramped much higher with cards like Rhystic Study/Smothering Tithe, but I don't think this deck survives in Power Level 8+. Yes, it has a lot of tutors which would be alarming if I wasn't tutoring cards like Spring / Mind. This deck assuming it doesn't get stuck in the digits of Pi should survive a casual game for 3 main factors. The first is that it's got a healthy amount of creatures that can dissuade from attacks. The second is that it's all over the place which means opponent's won't really think its a threat which is quite powerful. Lastly our Pie loving commander Lagrella, the Magpie can disrupt other powerful threats. Overall this deck is jank, but a conceptual challenge which I find so intriguing to solve and hope you do as well.
