This is a variation on my land destruction deck. I've taken out the black and added in blue for control.

5-6-15

I took out Den Protector and added Living Lore . I usually bring it in as a 4/4 creature with a land destruction card in exile, but sometimes I have sillly fun when it comes in as an 8/8 creature because I exile Treasure Cruise. I honestly prefer to exile a Demolish or a Desecration Plague because then I just have to pay for a Howl of the Horde , sacrifice Living Lore, and destroy three lands.

4-29-15

Had to come back in and change a few more items. I added one Dragonlord Atarka for now; it might work, it might not.

I took out Jace's Ingenuity for Treasure Cruise because I am filling the graveyard and my mana could be used for spells instead of just bringing in Jace's Ingenuity. I increased Monastery Siege to three so I can fill the graveyard, and I'm taking out Void Snare to run Den Protector for card selection.

I'm also putting in Howl of the Horde so when I do hit a land destruction card, it hits hard.

I appreciate all the feedback because it's really helping me out.

4-23-15 Update:I added Void Snare to slow the pace down. Took out Restock because I have the potential to take out 18 lands already. That's good enough. I took out Dissolve and added Silumgar's Scorn because I run plenty of dragons. Still have to fix the side deck.

4-22-15 Update:

The only true land destruction card that DTK has is Vandalize , but it sucks so I took it out. (Maybe I'll sideboard it.)

Land Destruction

Demolish and Demolition Plague. It starts Turn 4, turn 3 if I have an Elvish Mystic or a RattleClaw Mystic out.

Destructor Dragon can enter the battlefield as early as Turn 4. Of course, he deals damage, but when he dies, he can be used to destroy a land (or some other noncreature permanent.)

Ember Swallower goes monstrous and destroys lands.

Mana Rampers

Elvish Mystic and Rattleclaw Mystic are excellent cards. I do like playing Rattleclaw facedown, but sometimes I bring him in as a two-drop.

The Blue

Pull from the Deep is one less than Restock , but I prefer Restock because I can pull any card. This card lets me keep the pressure on with land destruction. I like that.

Jace's Ingenuity is a great card because it sucks not to have cards in your hand.

Dissolve and Negate are the best control cards out there. I don't need to get fancy, just need to keep my opponents in check on turns 4 and 5. I may drop the Negate and just run Dissolve though.

Icefall Regent is a 4/3 flyer and it lets me control an opponent's creature, and this is what I have been looking to add to this deck. (This replaces Siren of the Fanged Coast .)

Sarkhan Unbroken is going to give me an extra mana, and a card. Nice.

The Closer

Crater's Claws is here for the end game. If I use it early, I can always return it with Pull from the Deep.

The Dark Horse

Steam Augury has been recommended to me in the past. I've always thought it would be good in this deck.
