This deck includes tampering with lands, and overall limiting your opponents choices.

With cards like Miser Gnats, Locust Miser, and Cursed Rack, your opponent's hand size shall shrink. When they try casting a spell, Mana Breach, Mana Web, and Storm Cauldron will send the lands flying back to their hand. With a reduction in hand size, and their hand bloated with lands, they'll be forced to discard. Then, with Liliana's Caress out, your opponent will take damage for all of their discarding.

In the case they do try and lay down some land(or creatures and artifacts), Kismet will make sure they come in tapped, and Tectonic Instability will cause any other untapped lands to tap. Not to mention they'll take 2 points of damage for playing those lands from Ankh of Mishra

Of course, you don't have to worry about the ill effects of Mana Breach, Mana Web, Storm Cauldron, and Ankh of Mishra because you'll be using your Darksteel Ingot(s) for mana!
