Land Destruction EDH, Because No Land For You!

Commander / EDH Competitive Land Destruction RUG (Temur)

Madaraximundar

This, my friends, is the most evil thing I have ever done. It has guaranteed me a special seat downstairs. Behold, the EDH Land Destruction deck. This masterpiece uses cards of almost every type to keep your opponent from having any kind of a useful mana pool, thus allowing you to steamroll with ease.

How To Win

The main idea of this deck to deny as much land as possible out of your opponents, but that alone does not win a game does it? You need finishers. Several cards come into play for this solution. The first being Shattergang Brothers. These brothers are great because you can sac your creatures that destroy land when they die, also killing your opponents creatures. Put that with Tainted AEther and you can take advantage of cards like Fire Snake to destroy piles in a turn. Combine all that with cards like Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker and Earthblighter , and you will be able to empty your opponents board and deny them power very quickly. Use of Krenko, Mob Boss to fuel the sac penalty is also recommended. Defense Grid and Mana Web make it especially hard for opponents to halt your advance and land destruction with counters and control cards by making them cost 3 more, which will be hard to keep up with when their land is dying every turn, and tapped their entire land display on their turn. Price of Glory punishes countering even further, which is your biggest enemy in this deck. Mana Web + Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth means that you tap all of your opponents lands on their turn, further decreasing their ability to prevent the chaos you bring on your turns.

WARNING: Actually trying this sadistic creation will cause a possible loss of playgroups and maybe getting robbed after the game, so it is ill advised unless you do it with a satisfying cackle.

KINDLY PASS ON THE BRILLIANT UPVOTE IF YOU ENJOY THIS WORK OF ART.

Table FlipAbove is what happens when you destroy lands in this amount. A small price to pay for absolute prowess.
