This is my competitive Legacy deck. Lands, also known as Eternal Garden, attempts to control my opponents lands and field without using control spells. The deck runs by filling up its graveyard by repeatedly casting and then dredging Life from the Loam and it aims to put as many lands on the field each turn using things like Manabond and Exploration.

What lands are used to control my opponent? Most every land in some way really. Rishadan Port taps down my opponents lands during their upkeep so they can't cast anything. Wasteland destroys all of their non-basics, and there are A LOT of non-basics in legacy. Maze of Ith prevents any creatures that they do manage to get on the field from actually hitting me. The Tabernacle at Pendrell Vale prevents my opponent from flooding the field, and when used in combination with Rishadan Port and Wasteland, is pretty good at keeping only one or two creatures on the field.

So what are the other lands for? The rest are mostly just utility lands. Thespian's Stage can become anything I need. Grove of the Burnwillows is used in conjunction with Punishing Fire to control the field and deal damage to my opponent. As much as I hate the card, Glacial Chasm is a must have for last ditch efforts to stay alive. Tranquil Thicket helps me dredge multiple times each turn.

What about the other cards in the deck? Pretty much everything else is used to search up whatever I need to play more lands each turn.

So what are the win conditions? This deck has three main win conditions. The first is to peck my opponent to death using Punishing Fire , dealing up to four damage a turn. The second win condition is to create a legendary flying indestructible 20/20 token known as Marit Lage onto the field. The final win condition is to obtain such a massive control presence that your opponent just scoops. This last one is what happens most of the time.
