This deck is for the 3cmc challenge (Jarrod_0067's Interim Challenge).

It is not an original deck by myself, but it is an original modification. As most of you may already know, 43land.dec is pretty well-known in Legacy and has undergone updates as new sets have appeared. My current deck is based on one of the most recent winners by Chris Woltereck at the StarCityGames.com Open in Indianapolis earlier this year.

The strategy is simple: play as many lands as possible with Manabond, Life from the Loam and Exploration, beat down with Mishra's Factory or (my own little mod) Marit Lage from Dark Depths if you can get her out. Get Volrath's Stronghold for some Vampire Hexmage recursion to speed the latter up, or get Academy Ruins to recur Oblivion Stone over and over to wipe the board.

Sideboard in Mutavault against possible Sliver decks or for more punch, Bojuka Bog for recursion decks, Krosan Grip, more Oblivion Stones or Plague Boiler for decks with too much crap going on, Ensnaring Bridge to keep possible fatties out, and finally, Extirpate to get rid of problem cards/combos.

Initial playtesting has shown that getting Marit Lage out early is really easy. Intuition for Dark Depths, Vampire Hexmage and Volrath's Stronghold if none are present. If one or more are present, go for Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth and Life from the Loam.
