Yeah, I would run the Thragtusk in there I just dont want to drop the fund this close to rotation. If i can get my hands on another Angel Ill try her at three. Sundering growth may also be a great sideboard option with Theros coming out.
Thanks for the ideas and feedback!

Thanks :) Im looking for ways to make it stronger as well. I feel like I need a stronger two drop creature. Scavenging Ooze is great and triggers with the angel, however, It lacks early game power if there is nothing to scavenge.

maybe the new cat that is coming with Theros?

Yeah he looks solid! Ill have to try it out with that guy. 2 drop 3/3 body who has a late game effect. Sounds good to me.

I've also seen Voracious Wurm used to great effect in these decks. Might be worth a look.

Tough to say. Now that I think about it, I saw him in decks that ran Heroes' Reunion so you could have a turn 3 9/9, so without that, he might not be worth cutting something else for.

Yeah, I have seen him in similar decks. I dont have any reliable ways to gay a TON of life early which is why he didnt make the list.
Thanks for the comments and ideas though!

Tested it against my Ghost Baron --- Post-Theros Standard. Nice deck, good thing I can match-up well.

Have you ever considered Boon Satyr to be at advantage post-wrath?
October 2, 2013 9:26 p.m.
Yeah hes really solid! i just havent gotten to play test him adequately or made room for him yet. Any suggestions on what you would switch around for him?

Since you have 2 spaces open in your sideboard, I would add 2 to that and side it in for the control matchup. That along with Witchstalker and Pithing Needle (for aetherlings and jace) should make your control matchups more bearable since, from my experience, selesnya has a hard time dealing with it.

Yeah He would be a decent side in for that. Especially with how big esper control is going to be now.
Thanks for the suggestions.

Have you thought about Deadbridge Goliath over Polukranos, World Eater ? He is also a 5/5 for 4 but if he gets killed he can come back and give your Fleecemane Lion five counters. I think that is a better use of mana over five mana for two damage to a creature or player.

Thats not a bad idea. In all honesty I havent even thought of that card. however, polukranos does help clearing the white weenie decks running around after rotation.
Ill play with it a bit and see how it goes. Thanks for the suggestions :)

With the potential for mad counters you should consider Kalonian Hydra for double the pressure.

In my original idea of this deck i tried running two and two of Archangel of Thune .
Do you mean Kalonian Hydra with the angel as well?

Yeah archangle and hydra. Bam everything gets a counter then double it.

I would have had Sundering Growth in sideboard. maybe 4 Brave the Elements in deck rather than selesnya charm. Also you need more of archangel of thune or other big creatures if it is to expensive.
