Hello! It's been quite some time, huh?
I just wanted to bring the "dream" version of my Arena deck to you guys. I really want feedback.
The premise of this deck is locking our opponent out of the game, using our land destruction and mana restriction effects. I've considered adding a third color to this deck, but figured it wouldn't be worth it.
The sideboard is both a true sideboard and not a true sideboard; those are all cards I've considered mainboarding (I main Angel of Grace and Bounty Agent on Arena for Bo1)
Haphazard Bombardment is useful for not only destroying lands, but any pesky permanent- even Carnage Tyrant!
That's right, bombardment goes around Hexproof.
Baird and Forbidding Spirit are both very good at slowing down our opponent's assault, especially when flashed in via Electrodominance. Kinjali's Sunwing is also quite good at slowing the enemy down.
Ixalan's Binding is great for dealing with cards we don't want to see at all, like Hydroid Krasis or Rekindling Pheonix. We also have Justice Strike and Lava Coil for those creatures, receptively.
Tragic Poet mostly serves as insurance for Bombardment and Binding, should they be destroyed, milled or forcibly discarded. In other news, a 1/1 body for 1? There are a couple more in the side board if our opponent is really hating on our enchantments.
Bounty Agent is killer against Grixis Dragons, Angel of Grace allows our opponent to swing all out at us, and Deafening Clarion does wonders against Aggro. Tocatli Honor Guard slots out for Forbidding Spirit if we run into Lumbering Battlement or Ajani's Blessing.
The main deck could use some revision, but overall I believe the concept here is strong, and the deck itself is definitely viable. The version I'm running on Arena is less complete and uses Tithe Taker to fill in the gaps. That deck pulled me out of Silver!
