Everything must be sacrificed to the Frog King!

At the moment this is my favorite EDH. It's a sacrificed focused combo deck, where I will PROBABLY not attack not even once each match. It's not so easy to play considering there are so many options and most of them are more complex combos that involves some math and/or some planning to succeed. For that reason comboing off with it is so satisfying!!

In bigger tables and against other combo decks the gameplay style should be adapted accordingly. The shenanigans this deck can do can pull A LOT of aggro so if presented too soon can eventually just get all players against me quickly lol.

The overall plan should be just ramp and build up a not-so-threatning board state, dealing with eventuall threats but overall as a "helper" of the table. Good time to combo is when I have good mana production, 1 or 2 pieces of combo on my hand/battlefield and a tutor to finish it off. Ideal cherry on top would be with Dosan the Falling Leaf on the battlefield to garantee no interference.

I can be able to go off as soon as turn 8 depending on the game state, but the deck is prepared to hold on for longer playthroughs.

I will elaborate on the main engines bellow and also write something about some other non-combo related cards and their purpose.

1) 11 mana minimum to kickstart: Spawning Pit + Ashnod's Altar +Parallel Lives + any 2 creatures to start. This also generates infinite mana. If Gemstone Array or Pitiless Plunderer are on the battlefield I have infinite mana instead!

2) 12-14 mana to kickstart: Ant Queen + Pitiless Plunderer + (Ashnod's Altar OR Parallel Lives and another sac). This also generates infinite mana ( without Parallel Lives).

3) 12-14 mana to kickstart: Puppeteer Clique + (Mikaeus, the Unhallowed OR Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest) + any creature sac at instant speed. Also removes all creatures from opponents graveyards (which is great for a Living Death later). The one with Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest also put infinite +1/+1 counters on other creatures I control and make it possible to kill each opponent with creatures I just stole from they graveyard lol.

4) 16-18 mana to kickstart: (Abhorrent Overlord OR Hornet Queen OR Avenger of Zendikar and 4 lands) + Phyrexian Reclamation + Pitiless Plunderer + (Ashnod's Altar OR Parallel Lives and another sac). This also generates infinite mana ( without Paralell Lives). It's not actually infinite since I loose life each time I activate Phyrexian Reclamation and will need to get some lifegain to ensure the combo. In this case it would be infinite with Savra, Queen of the Golgari if using the green creatures generators, then also giving me infinite lifegain!

5) 18-20 mana to kickstart: Demon of Dark Schemes + (Abhorrent Overlord OR Hornet Queen OR Avenger of Zendikar) + [(Pitiless Plunderer + any sac) OR (Ashnod's Altar + Gemstone Array)]. This also generates infinite AND infinite and infinite reanimation from any graveyard.

6) 18-22 mana to kickstart: Endrek Sahr, Master Breeder + Phyrexian Reclamation + Pitiless Plunderer + Parallel Lives + any cmc 3 or less creature + any sac. Generates a lot of mana. It's not actually infinite since I loose life each time I activate Phyrexian Reclamation and will need to get some lifegain to ensure the combo. In this case it would be infinite with Savra, Queen of the Golgari if the creature with CMC 3 or less is green.

Most infinite sac combos described above already provide me with infinite mana. Anyway any of them will become infinite mana if I have Pitiless Plunderer OR (Gemstone Array + Ashnod's Altar) on the battlefield.

As for finite (but a lot) of mana generation I have multiple tools. Here are some other examples:

  1. Gemstone Array -> Mana storage to use later and/or mana filtering to colored.
  2. Itlimoc, Cradle of the Sun -> After transformed from Growing Rites of Itlimoc   generates me a looot of mana.
  3. Cryptolith Rite -> Every creature I have also becomes a Birds of Paradise!
  4. Skirge Familiar -> I already run a lot of draw effects so my hand will probably easily be full, so this guy can help generating a lot of mana. Extra value when The Gitrog Monster is on the battlefield, each land I discard to generate mana give me another draw! Can also help discarding creatures in hand to provide mana for a Living Dead.
  5. World Shaper and Splendid Reclamation -> I have a lot of ramp and can put 2 lands per turn, but I always loose a lot of them due to The Gitrog Monster ability. Well now I can get ALL back!

1) The most straightforward way to win, just prepare ANY of the infinite sacrifice combos described with Zulaport Cutthroat on the battlefield and you've won rs.

1) Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord + Kokusho, the Evening Star + Mikaeus, the Unhallowed + any reanimate (Victimize, Animate Dead, Atzal, Cave of Eternity, Dread Return) + 14 to 17 mana (depending on the reanimate). This way you will sacrifice Kokusho, the Evening Star 4 times with Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord, each time your opponents will lose 10 life.

2) Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord + Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest + instant speed sac outlet + creatures. It will kill all opponents at once (assuming here on example opponents are all at full life) depending on how many permanents gets sacrificed and then how many creatures get sacrificed to Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord. Since Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest's trigger says PERMANENTS sacrificed by ANYONE, Butcher of Malakir, Sylvan Safekeeper and Pitiless Plunderer can all help pumping your creatures with +1/+1 counters. This win-condition math can be resumed to:

-> 39 permanents sacrificed first, 1 40/40 creature sacrificed for Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord costing 3 mana. (really improbable rs)

-> 19 permanents sacrificed first, 2 20/20 creatures sacrificed for Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord costing 6 mana. (still kinda hard but not impossible sacrificing lands)

-> 13 permanents sacrificed first, 3 14/14 creatures sacrificed for Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord costing 9 mana.

-> 9 permanents sacrificed first, 4 10/10 creatures sacrificed for Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord costing 12 mana.

-> 7 permanents sacrificed first, 5 8/8 creatures sacrificed for Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord costing 15 mana.

ps: If the sac being used is Flesh-Eater Imp you can greatly reduce those numbers (since he gets twice as bigger to me sacd by Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord!

1) Gray Merchant of Asphodel can be a great unexpected (and my favorite) finisher entering the battlefield with a good amount of black devotion. With a sac and some help you can bounce it back a few times. Examples are Mikaeus, the Unhallowed, Demon of Dark Schemes, Victimize, Animate Dead, Dread Return, Atzal, Cave of Eternity, Phyrexian Reclamation or Living Death.

1) Puppeteer Clique + Mikaeus, the Unhallowed + Zulaport Cutthroat + any creature sac at instant. Infite sac and infinite damage to opponents.

2) Puppeteer Clique + Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest -> Infinite sac (bonus graveyard hate). Can finish same way as previous one with Zulaport Cutthroat + any creature sac at instant or you can also have a single creature sacrifice victory with Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord.

1) Torment of Hailfire -> Generate good amount of mana and then cast Torment of Hailfire, no secret here lol. I estimate only 25 mana needed to garantee this victory. Even if it does not kill your opponents, they will be completely lacking in resources and open for the taking.

2) Death Cloud -> Generate a lot of mana (this time about ~ 40 mana), get some life (so as to have higher life total on the table) and then cast Death Cloud. Alternativelly, if World Shaper is on the battlefield you could just cast Death Cloud for at lot less mana (about 15 just to ensure opponents loose all lands). You won't win right away but chances are all opoonents will drop the game since you'll get all your lands back. They'll have empty battlefields and no hand kkkkk.
