I wanted a deck that works around land and had Borborygmos Enraged laying around so I decided to give him a chance. This deck started out as a gimmick but turned out to be quite viable.

The deck is very dependant on its general which turns every land in your hand into a mana Lightning Bolt.

What does the deck need?

So its all about ramp & card advantage, you will want to be able recast you general as often as needed. Once you have your general you will want as much land in hand as possible.

A minimum number of cards for board-controle with Blasphemous Act, Chaos Warp and Decimate.

A minimum of protection for your general with Sylvan Safekeeper, Lightning Greaves, Spellbreaker Behemoth.

How does it win?

In most cases you just trow lands at your opponents faces untill they die, there are some ways to speed up the process tho.

Illusionist's Bracers, and Gratuitous Violence each double the damage of your lightning bolt lands.

Creeping Renaissance and Praetor's Counsel return all your lands from your graveyard to your hand, bonuspoints if you use Sylvan Safekeeper to first sacrifice the ones you have in play.

Blackblade Reforged or Rubblehulk don't only help you to take out an opponent with commander damage. They can cause you to draw half your deck if combined with Rishkar's Expertise or Soul's Majesty.

Land synergy

Blow op lands: Strip Mine or Wasteland + Crucible of Worlds or Ramunap Excavator (bonus with Exploration, Burgeoning, Ghirapur Orrery and/or Mina and Denn, Wildborn)

Fetch, fetch, fetch: Any fetch land Terramorphic Expanse + Crucible of Worlds or Ramunap Excavator (bonus with Exploration, Burgeoning, Ghirapur Orrery and/or Mina and Denn, Wildborn)

Damage prevention: Constant Mists or Glacial Chasm + Crucible of Worlds or Ramunap Excavator
