And since Dark Depths is his commander, Marit Lage is his de facto legendary creature commander so he only needs to hit for 21 commander with him/her/it. (I know Marit Lage has a gender, and for some reason I feel like Marit Lage is female.)

And if anyone disagrees with that deduction, hold your tongue because this is casual anyway XD Although I think it might actually be right.

CITY 'O AWESOMNESS!! Not only does that provide you with 1 mana, but it also provides you with a 1/2 mana as well! That's a fifty percent advantage! The acceleration is unbelievable! It's hard to find such a high quality ramp land such as this! (Rants on for another hour :P)

Tolariat west is a good card in an all land deck, but Dark Depths resides in the Command Zone, so you needn't sesrch for it.

Here's a point though: after you sacrifice it, do you then have to pay to get it back onto the field? It's not really a problem I guess since you will probably have two mana by the time you sacrifice him, (said the king of understatement.) but it's kind of interesting to be "casting lands" for mana.
