A theme deck based around Hydra creatures, I have always loved the theme of them and seeing as how Progenitus exists I figured it would be the perfect commander for this deck.

The primary strategy of the deck is to ramp mana and play big X/X hydra creatures, plant Brawn, Wonder and Anger in the graveyard with Buried Alive, allowing them to overwhelm the opposition through trample, Flying and Haste with Overwhelming Stampede, an overloaded Teleportal and Naya Charm potentially opening up opponents fields for a devastating win. The secondary strategy is burning opponents through effects such as Warstorm Surge, Mage Slayer, Chandra's Ignition and Stalking Vengeance which take advantage of the sheer size of the Hydra Creatures and allow the creature a use even if they are removed from the field.

The overall strategy is enhanced with support from most of the 5 colour pie available to us with defensive options such as , Heroic Intervention, Asceticism and Vigor, with Privileged Position and Sterling Grove to protect our other enchantments as well. Due to the prevalance of +1/+1 counters in this deck there are numerous methods of proliferate and counter placement involved in this deck like Inexorable Tide, Fuel for the Cause, Contagion Engine, Vorel of the Hull Clade and Corpsejack Menace with Ajani, Mentor of Heroes doubling up as a creature search source with Death's Presence offering some insurance that our counter building work doesn't easily go to waste. Cream of the Crop acts as a mass scry and tutor considering the size of the creatures we can summon and allows us to put whatever we need at the top of the library to draw. Animar, Soul of Elements allows us to keep our general casting costs low as well as ensuring Progenitus stays the same mana cost in case it gets removed, with Protection from white and black giving it some good protection against the usual suspects of single target removal White and Black.

This deck is particularly mana hungry and requires competent mana fixing, so cards such as Chromatic Lantern and Prismatic Omen allow us to simplifly mana colours and makes casting our commander much more straight forward, while cards like Cultivate, Map the Wastes and Farseek allow us to search the lands we need when we need them. Mana Reflection and Mirari's Wake will double our mana and will give our field a blanket +1/+1 boost too, also cheekily putting Progenitus into 2 hit Commander KO territory and allowing us an incredibly potent Omnath, Locus of Mana keeping more of our doubled mana each turn and boosting his power and toughness through the roof for spells such as Monstrous Onslaught and Overwhelming Stampede,

This deck has some forms of removal in the form of Monstrous Onslaught, Cyclonic Rift, Return to Dust, Sultai Charm, Chandra's Ignition and Warstorm Surge. Due to the nature of the creatures in this deck being 0/0 with counters, Mirrorweave becomes a sly boardwipe when the creature targeted for the effect is one of our 0/0's as the counters already on our creatures will save them. The Aggro that this deck can draw necessitates the need for instant responses to disrupt opponents answers, as such Swan Song, Counterspell, Voidslime and Stubborn Denial in particular serve as flexible responses.

This is just a general fun deck for our meta but I am open to any feedback and inclusion options that people can recommend, as a meta we are not including land destruction and staying away from infinite combos and lockdowns.
