It's harder to find that in EDH than the 60 card formats but if I notice it I will.

Riptide Laboratory has good interaction with your general as you can bounce her from the board and then recast to draw more cards. It just gives you another option if you don't have your Deadeye Navigator out. Crystal Shard gives you another option for bouncing her as well.
I use Myojin of Seeing Winds in a Simic based deck and have had quite a bit of success with him. He's really good if you have a way to add counters to him as he's then a repeatable and indestructible way to draw cards. I've never found it difficult to get him on the board even with his high casting cost. Best of luck with the deck

I think Vorel of the Hull Clade is a better general than Prime Speaker Zegana as long as your creatures have easy ways to generate counters.

Well the deck works off of ramp and massive draw. The deck is not about counters, so Prime Speaker Zegana does the job just fine. Not to mention she pairs nicely with Kalonian Hydra

Really like this deck! I run a Kaalia EDH that is all about dropping fatties, but I want the ability to protect them, blink them for ETB effects, or counter the crap out of my friends in our casual game. Looks like Simic might be the next direction I go! +1

Thanks Forceofnature1 :) I always loved ramp, and with all the cool stuff they have it's amazing in EDH. I just wish Emrakul was legal :c

maybe consider these: Solemn Simulacrum , Explosive Vegetation , Sakura-Tribe Elder ,Rhystic Study and Capsize
also Amulet of Vigor is an option if you want all those lands you search for to enter untapped.
check out my build for ideas and maybe comment/upvote. it's an etb based combo version: Zegana's Takeover. Look at the land base for sure as yours looks like it could use some work (although i'm sure it functions fine as is)

I have enough ramp in the deck as is, so no more suggestions on ramp would be nice .3.
I love the idea of Amulet of Vigor being out after dropping Boundless Realms . Adding it in.

+1 for slipknot reference, i was hoping thats what it would be when i saw the title. Ive never looked at a prime speaker EDH deck before. if your not sure on mana reflection,m id go its definitely a good choice. Also consider Doubling Season and Increasing Savagery

My problem is I don't know what to take out for Mana Reflection . Doubling Season would be good in here as well. What should I take out for both?
December 24, 2013 10:25 a.m.
For super extra token madness, maybe consider Vorel of the Hull Clade . Got 50 counters on Helix Pinnacle already? You win.
I like the build a lot. How often does Amulet of Vigor actually do anything for you? How often does Helix Pinnacle win the game for you?

tough to say what to drop, always is in EDH, but maybe symbiotic wurm and plasm capture. Both are cool cards, but theres still a bunch of counter spells here and the wurm could be replaced with something more synergetic, though it would be excellent with doubling season. Idk what would be best to drop really man.

@gavoryn: Amulet of Vigor works well with the duals that come in tapped and with cards like Cultivate , Growth Spasm , Kodama's Reach , and the ever so fun Boundless Realms . Helix Pinnacle is a back up, and I have won with it before. Vorel of the Hull Clade can't target enchanments, and even if he could Pinnacle has shroud, so regardless he couldn't target Pinnacle.
@8vomit: Plasm Capture is AMAZING! There is no way I'd ever drop it. It's a counterspell that ramps. Maybe Dawntreader Elk can go for Mana Reflection

I don't really see what you're getting at here with all the "play an extra land" spells. Right off the bat, you only have 35 lands (I'd be running 38 or so) and there are more consistent forms of ramp.
Solemn Simulacrum > Burnished Hart
Overwhelming Stampede > Overrun
Wood Elves / Farhaven Elf > Dawntreader Elk
Your land-base is something that could use a decent amount of work. Consider the following: Command Tower , Alchemist's Refuge , Lonely Sandbar , Tranquil Thicket , Faerie Conclave , Treetop Village , Temple of the False God , Mystifying Maze , Reliquary Tower , and Flooded Grove .
Spells to consider: Consecrated Sphinx , Krosan Grip , Bramblecrush , Green Sun's Zenith , Primal Command , Rite of Replication , Praetor's Counsel , Abundance , Archmage Ascension , Twincast , Venser's Journal , Sphinx of Uthuun , Simic Sky Swallower , Phyrexian Metamorph , Clone , Body Double , Dreamstone Hedron , Trygon Predator , Steel Hellkite , Terastodon , Strionic Resonator , Diluvian Primordial , Sylvan Primordial , Frost Titan , Wood Elves , Farhaven Elf , Woodfall Primus , Spitting Image , Deadwood Treefolk , Biomantic Mastery , etc.
I'm not sure of your budget (and obviously some of these are quite expensive), but if you can afford them, I would add in: Kozilek, Butcher of Truth , Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre , Cryptic Command , Tropical Island , Maze of Ith , etc.

Before I break down your suggestions with my own thoughts, I recommend you thoroughly go through a deck when giving suggestions, as Kozilek, Butcher of Truth and Sylvan Primordial are both already in the deck.
Now, the extra lands a turn is for when I get flooded with lands or draw a bunch from my massive drawing. A lot of the spells you recommended seem more like changing the deck's playstyle than aiding it, where you named a ton of removal and copy effects. The deck is mass ramp and mass draw into big creatures. Dreamstone Hedron is something I can look into though, as it does both. I know removal is important in EDH, but I think that the deck does fairly well with what limited removal it has.
Why I don't have any "unlimited hand size" cards in the deck is because I want to dump my hand and reshuffle the deck at times.
As for my landbase, I kept it mostly basics for the reason that I have few nonbasic ramp cards, and thus did not want to have most of my ramp be dead. I've had little to no problems with my mana fixing so I will leave the landbase as is. Yes, Tropical Island is outside my budget. It's gonna take me a good amount of time to get the Underground Sea I need for my Circu deck.
I can exchanged Burnished Hart for Solemn Simulacrum . I literally only have Overrun in here for global trample. I can do Farhaven Elf to replace Dawntreader Elk .
My deck is supposed to be more on the casual side, while also trying to win. I need to make room for Momentous Fall and Mana Reflection .

Nylea, God of the Hunt sounds like a better global trample option...

Well my friend runs Merciless Eviction and spot removal spells that get around indestructible, so I'd rather not run the risk of Nylea getting exiled or tucked.

Emrakul, the Aeons Torn with proginitor mimic= infinite turns
January 8, 2014 6:44 p.m.
UmbrotheUmbreon says... #20
Emrakul, the Aeons Torn is sadly banned in EDH
January 8, 2014 7:46 p.m.
Also, copying Emrakul each turn wouldn't give you infinite turns. You only get an extra turn when you cast Emrakul, not when he enters the battlefield.
January 9, 2014 12:10 p.m.
Yeah, you would need to bounce him to your hand for infinite turns.
January 9, 2014 12:24 p.m.
This looks like a pretty sweet Abundance deck, it does a lot for card selection. Also, this looks like a good Bident of Thassa deck, since you have huge blockers, a lot of creatures, and want to draw cards.

OMG why is your commander Zeniga and not Momir Vig, Simic Visionary ? Your strategy is way more Momir than Zeniga

Slagwurm is a solid choice to cut, too. As you play, keep an eye on Myojin and check how often it clogs up your hand. If it ends up being a lot, reconsider dropping him.
