Braid of Fire is an auto include in mono red. Nice deck by the way! I love burn!

This plays very similarly to how you'd want to play Ashling the Pilgrim -- The armors and protection are key.
+1

ticked-off-squirrel Second that, its difficult to find these cards and finding one that only hits opponents is nearly impossible ha
Daedalus19876 This like any red deck has a card advantage problem and loses steam. So Ghirapur Orrery and Avaricious Dragon were added to let me dump my hand each turn. I have not considered Gemstone Array but I am now! Storing that extra mana sounds great.
HezTheGod Homeward Path and Gamble were added. Good ideas!
D1beast I cant add the Braid. That only works on upkeep and drains right away. Dont have enough instants or creatures that would be able to use it. mastermew Does that make sense? Only works during the upkeep?
Skulloelegy Thanks! Ashling the Pilgrim was in the 99 but got switched out... Might add her back since she is a bad ass.
Thanks everyone!

Omg! I didn't even realize that the cumulative upkeep COST was to ADD mana. Now I see how good that is.

mastermew In paper I have a rakdos deck built exactly like this, E1 is the most savage card in the entire list

I feel like Hangarback Walker would be really good too.

Builder's Bane and Ghirapur Orrery are subpar, but You should also add Apocalypse, my playgroup refers to it as "the big red button" because you cast that, and everything mysteriously disappears.

I very much recommend Myojin of Infinite Rage. With Neheb you get all the mana you need so lands can just go away. You can also just use cards like Jokulhaups or Decree of Annihilation to wipe everything then just recast your commander.

I just bought a collection of cards from a garage sale and as I was going through it I saw a few cards I thought might be good for this deck. After work I can take a look for ya.

Kumano, Master Yamabushi, Obsidian Fireheart, Shivan Hellkite,Jinxed Choker Comet Storm, Ravaging Blaze, and Volcanic Geyser could enable wins off of Braids of Fire. With a few more things to do with mana at instant speed, braids could be savage.
Planeswalker's Fury could also be good

Hey there!
Sorry it took me so long to take a look. Thanks again for your comments on my take on our zombie cow friend.
A card I always like having in any deck where I need to attack is Dolmen Gate. Being able to attack and not worry about blockers is a real blessing. I would probably replace Pyramid of the Pantheon with it... your commander will be generating absurd amounts of mana as long as he sticks around and the pyramid is more of a color fixer, which you shouldn't need in mono color. Its just kind of slow for what it does.
Two other cards I'm mulling over are Battle Strain and Heat of Battle. I probably won't run both but it gives the deck another way to ensure some type of damage to a player even if they have blockers for days. They also wreck token decks that plan on chump blocking a lot.
I'm still digging through cards looking to top off my deck. I will let you know if I find anything else that seems to fit!

Hey like the deck, burn in edh ftw. I looked at my wort ramp/burn deck for ideas that worked for me to help yours. Dictate of the Twin Gods is another furnace of wrath, insult/injury (new split card) also works as a one turn dmg doubler for three. Devil's Play is a great fireball cuz it has flashback, Fall of the Titans is two fireballs for the price of one if you surge it. Someone mentioned it earlier but comet storm is great you should put that in.
Increasing Vengeance, Howl of the Horde, Dualcaster Mage and Fork I Highly recommend, copy spells are great for getting that "go off" turn faster, they can copy rituals or fireballs for super cheap, Reiterate is my favorite of the copy spells because it can make infinite mana, if you can cast it with buyback on a spell that makes enough mana to profit from continually playing it with buyback you can make infinite red mana and kill everyone with fireballs easy, seething song won't do it but Inner Fire and Mana Geyser can go off with reiterate.
As for cuts I think you should consider cutting down on some smaller creatures that die to earthquake/blastacts.
This commander interests me I think I'll make a deck for him when he comes out. Best of luck

To ramp up the speed for getting Neheb out faster would you consider some mana rocks like Mana Crypt, Mox Diamond, Chrome Mox, Mox Opal, Grim Monolith?
Mana Crypt for 0 drop ramp.
Mox Diamond and Chrome Mox would add up to two lands on one turn. Mox Opal would be good for the added artifacts. If you do run this i also suggest running a Great Furnace for another artifact in the deck. Grim Monolith would be very nice for early kick off, and then even late game (even if its really not that 'late' into the game) you can untap it with the generated mana from Neheb.

This commander seems great!! I want to build it too maybe... got some ideas...
Stormbreath Dragon, Comet Storm, Volcanic Fallout, Chandra, Torch of Defiance, Cryptolith Fragment Flip, Past in Flames, Pyromancer's Goggles, Pyromancer's Gauntlet, Blade of Selves, Grenzo, Havoc Raiser, Grenzo's Ruffians, Warchief Giant, Charmbreaker Devils, Chandra, Pyromaster, Embermaw Hellion, Fire Servant :)

Comet Storm is a lot like your other X-cost finishers, but instead of everybody or just one, it kills everybody else. Seems like it would be pretty good here.

What do you think of Godo, Bandit Warlord? You at least get 1 free additional combat phase, and it could search up some nasty equipment like Blade of Selves to deal damage to everyone or Sword of Feast and Famine to get even more mana during your next main phase.

Homeward Path is a must add because you run blightsteel and eldrazi titans.
Gamble is the best tutor in red. you should run it.
Expedition Map is a good tutor cantrip that can search for Homeward Path
nice deck +1
